Sets are reused from Robot Jox and Arena.
Was originally supposed to have been released on video at the end of the 1980s by New World Video, but New World went bankrupt before they could release it, although a video master had already been prepared by New World. It was eventually released on a budget tape from Starmaker Video in the fall of 1991.
Director Jay Kamen did not see the movie for himself until 5 years after filming wrapped up when someone notified him that a VHS of the film was for sale at a grocery store bargain bin.
Jay Kamen's original cut of the film was actually much different than the finished print of the film
A musical number in the bar scene was written and filmed but remained unused in the final cut.
