Armie Hammer is opening up about his return to acting, saying his career is picking up so much that he has had to decline job offers.

In a new interview, the Call Me By Your Name star said he is booked and busy after leaving the Hollywood industry following accusations of cannibalism and sexual abuse.

“I’m turning down jobs. My dance card is getting pretty full,” Hammer said on Your Mom’s House podcast hosted by Christina Pazsitzky and Tom Segura. “That first job that I turned down after four years of this shit, I mean, it was the best feeling I’ve ever had.”

A new House of Representatives committee report claimed that former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo “inappropriately influenced” a top aide’s testimony.

In a congressional investigation into the Cuomo administration’s catastrophic March 25, 2020 mandate that saw Covid-19 patients forced into nursing homes, the aide in question, witness Jim Malatras, said that Cuomo made him “uncomfortable” with constant calls and texts while the House Select Subcommittee was pushing the nursing home mandate.

Malatras resigned in December 2021. He was the only former member of Cuomo’s office who confirmed to the Covid committee that Cuomo had “edited” a notorious New York Department of Health report and deflated the actual nursing home death count due to the mandate.

This includes Perry’s assistant, a close acquaintance, two doctors, and someone known as the Ketamine Queen. That last person is an alleged drug dealer, and here is everything known about this mysterious suspect.

Who Is The Ketamine Queen Charged In Matthew Perry’s Death?

The suspect known as the Ketamine Queen in Matthew Perry’s death is Jasveen Sangha. She is an American-British dual national. When she appeared for her hearing, she wore a Nirvana sweatshirt and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

However, the authorities believe Sangha has been supplying ketamine from her “stash house” since at least 2019 (via BBC). When the police searched her home, they allegedly found more than 80 vials of ketamine there. Additionally, there were thousands of pills, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and Xanax.

Two men were arrested and charged with the death of Matthew Perry. The two men included a doctor and a go-between. They allegedly sold the ketamine to the actor, and Perry’s own assistant helped administer it. This led to Perry’s accidental death as he was sitting in a hot tub at his home.

Now, police records indicate that these two men had conspired to “scam” Perry out of money for the drugs. Here is what we know.

Rising Tide

Production begins next month on “Black Tide Island,” a historical drama series that presents a Taiwanese insight into the Korean War. Production is headed by Hakka TV and Go Inside. Hakka TV is the local Hakka-language linear satellite television channel operated by Taiwan Broadcasting System.

The nine-episode scripted series is inspired by true stories of how a group of top medical doctors managed to set up a leading medical facility, survive hardships and conduct surgery with extremely limited resources while in jail on Taiwan’s outlying Green Island during the 1950s. The main cast is headed by Wang Shih-hsien, Tsao Yu-ning, Wu Nien-hsuan, River Huang and Hsia Teng-hung.

Direction is by Jim Wang, a Golden Horse Award-nominated & Golden Bell Award-winning filmmaker.

“Days of Our Lives” is putting a pause on production amid public controversy surrounding multiple allegations of workplace misconduct by longtime director and co-executive producer Albert Alarr, TheWrap has learned.

A Peacock spokesperson confirmed that production will extend a preplanned hiatus this week past Monday. Corday Productions confirmed a one-week extension of the hiatus, without providing details on the reasons behind the prolonged break in filming.

News of the extension comes after TheWrap obtained a copy of a tentative “Days of Our Lives” production schedule that showed Alarr returning as director on Friday, Aug. 4.

Alarr was at the center of a nine-week misconduct investigation conducted by distributor Sony Pictures Television Entertainment, according to a report from Deadline.

“Days of Our Lives” was created by Ted and Betty Corday and is produced by the company they founded, Corday Productions, which is owned and operated by their son, executive producer Ken Corday.

The Mandalorian has really outdone itself with season 3’s penultimate episode, “The Spies.” It’s hands-down one of the best, most thrilling episodes in the Star Wars series thus far, with kickass action, poignant character moments, and a high-stakes energy that permeates from beginning to end.

The episode opens with Elia Kane checking in with Moff Gideon in a Coruscant alleyway via an Imperial Probe Droid (a pleasant pop of nostalgia), in a short scene that will probably go forgotten by many but deserves a shoutout for its gritty Blade Runner vibes. Then, we get the Shadow Council scene, which is worth the price of admission alone.

For goodness sake, this scene is jam-packed with so much drool-inducing setup for the future of the Mandoverse it’s ridiculous. Captain Pellaeon (a big Legends blast from the past!

Almost a week after CNN’s Don Lemon made waves with a controversial on-air comment regarding Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley’s age, “CNN This Morning” saw a double digit rating increase for the co-anchor’s return to the show Wednesday after a brief hiatus, according to official live plus same-day Nielsen data.

As viewers tuned in to watch Lemon return to the show with the possibility of addressing the controversy live, Wednesday’s total viewership saw an 18.2% uptick with 383,700 total viewers and a 11.2% increase in the cable key demographic among adults 25-54 with 75,300 viewers in the demo on average during the 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. time slot as compared to last Wednesday’s broadcast prior to the controversy, which drew in 324,700 total viewers and 67,300 viewers in the demo.
