Static-x and Sevendust have added a third leg to their co-headlining US tour.
The bands already teamed up for a Fall 2023 leg, and they previously announced a Winter 2024 leg set to launch in February. The newly announced Spring 2024 dates kick off April 28th in Salt Lake City and running through May 18th in Minneapolis. Dope and Lies of Loyalty will support these shows, in addition to opening the February leg.
Various ticket pre-sales are ongoing for select dates, and general ticket sales start Friday (January 12th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
The outing is billed as the co-headlining “Machine Killer” tour, named after Static-x’s sophomore album, Machine, and Sevendust’s latest studio LP, Truth Killer, which dropped back in July.

Mort Engelberg, who was a producer on films including Smokey and the Bandit and The Big Easy before transitioning into politics as an “advance man” for Bill Clinton and other presidential candidates, died Saturday in Los Angeles of natural causes. He was 86.
“He was a wonderful person, a wonderful husband. He loved the movie business, and he loved his work with President Clinton,” his wife, Helaine Blatt, told The Hollywood Reporter. “He told the best stories of anyone I ever met, the best jokes.”
Born and raised in Memphis, Engelberg graduated from the University of Illinois and then spent a year working on a master’s degree in journalism at the University of Missouri. He left school before completing that degree and worked as a journalist for a few years before moving to Washington in 1961 to work for Sargent Shriver, the director of the then-newly formed Peace Corps, and later...

Many of us know Alan Ruck from the hit movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off, where he played Cameron Frye, the best friend of Ferris (Matthew Broderick) and Sloane Peterson (Mia Sarah). Others know Ruck from the series Succession. In addition, Ruck has starred in over 100 films and television shows.
Having been born in Cleveland, Ohio, Ruck dreamed of getting out of there and describes his school years as miserable, especially the teenage ones. He came from a low-income family and did not have many friends. While every teenager was throwing parties and having a great time with their peers, Ruck was not. He was not athletic and had a lot of issues with focusing and doing well in school. This story is very similar for many children and adults reminiscing on their high school years. Of course, not everyone wanted that kind of attention, but Ruck wished to find some...

Foreign exchange student Jen and Eve were both on Last Man Standing Season 7 Episode 11, treating fans to some hilarious interactions with Mike Baxter.
When Vaness first met Jen in Last Man Standing Season 7 Episode 5, it was clear that Mike was going to struggle with having the teen live in his house. He wasn't 100% on board with housing the young girl, but he did it for his wife.
Mike and Jen are both more alike than they each realize. They both speak their minds and don't hold back on their opinions. However, when they were thrown under the same roof, they stopped being real and started being polite.
Despite his harshness, Mike is a good guy at heart, and he wanted to find some common ground with Jen. It makes sense; the girl is going to be living in his house for six months.
However, the two couldn't find one thing they had in common.

The Goonies celebrates its 30th birthday today, and even after all these years we still adore this '80s classic.
Rumours have been swirling for some time about a Goonies 2 (make it happen, Hollywood!) with all the original cast returning, so with this in mind we take a trip down memory lane to find out what the stars of the cult classic are doing now.
Sean Astin
Sean Astin played the slightly dorky yet bright, braces-clad Mikey - who attempts to leads his fellow adventurers to One-Eyed Willy's hidden fortune upon his discovery of an old treasure map.
The 44-year-old actor has continued to enjoy movie success with his role as Samwise Gamgee in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Astin also played Lynn McGill in hit Fox TV series 24, provides the voice of Raphael in Nickelodeon's TV version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012), and recently appeared in Guillermo del Toro...

Stand-up star Russell Peters will take a lead role in Three for the Road, a raunchy buddy road movie comedy from writer/director Brian Herzlinger (My Date With Drew). The Canadian comedian will play Jack, a 38-year-old geek whose fiancee dumps him during their Star Wars-themed wedding for being "too immature." Looking to pick up his spirits, Jack's best friend Ben invites him to join him on a cross-country road trip with his own fiancee (and Jack's nemesis) Kara. What was supposed to be a romantic trip for two becomes a battle for Ben's affection.

Uh oh, it just got Real on Twisted.
In "Three For the Road" the mystery of Vikram Desai reached a whole new level of questions.
As you can all recall from the Twisted pilot, Vikram's body was never found after he was declared dead of drowning at sea. So then how, exactly, was he sending Regina a threatening letter and money from a random apartment in Connecticut?
As a refresher, here is what the note enclosed with two thousand dollars said: "This is your final payment. Deal holds, keep your mouth shut. If you tell anyone...you know what'll happen." It was postmarked two days before Regina was murdered. Maybe Regina opened her mouth because she never got that final payment and that's why she was murdered? Just a theory.
So as many of your have guessed in the comments, Vikram Desai is probably alive. He was also probably somehow hooking up with Regina.

Gather round, children.
Believe it or not, there was a time when your Uncle Charlie was actually something of a well-respected movie actor who was just known for making poor career choices (beyond, say, following up Platoon with Three For The Road), baseball memorabilia, and a fondness for entertaining Professional Ladies.

I’m currently sat watching Take Me Home Tonight, the Topher Grace starrer set in the 80s and I got to thinking about how much fun I had back then, and then I got to thinking about all the cool movies that were released during my the decade and just how many of them have never seen the light of day since then… So here it is, my Top 10 movies of the 80s that have never made it to DVD (well at least not here in the UK):
1) The Legend of Billie Jean (1985)
Average Texas teen, Billie Jean Davy, is caught up in an odd fight for justice. She is usually followed and harrased around by local boys, who, one day, decide to trash her brother’s scooter for fun. The boys’ father refuses to pay them back the price of the scooter. The fight for “fair is fair...

HollywoodNews.com: The American Cinema Editors have named two awards champs — three-time Emmy winner Michael Brown and three-time Oscar champ Michael Kahn — as recipients of this year’s lifetime achievement awards. The honors will be bestowed on the two men at the 61st annual edition of the Eddies on Feb. 19 at the Beverly Hilton. In making the announcement, the Ace Board of Directors cited the extensive credits of the two men.
Michael Brown, A.C.E., received his first editing credit on “Green Acres” in 1967. Getting his feet wet in sitcoms was a great foundation for a career that skewed slowly to the more serious side of television in shows like “Banyon” and “The Streets of San Francisco” (1972). After editing his first Mow — the pilot for Mtm Enterprises’ “Three for the Road” (1975) — he began editing pilots, TV movies and mini-series along with a few theatrical features. Michael...

Three for the road!
After a few days of fun and relaxation Down Under, Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban and daughter Sunday Rose, 2, depart Australia from Sydney Airport Thursday.
“It took me so long to get pregnant and have a baby, so I have enormous gratitude. I have two grown children with that enormous gratitude that they are healthy and sane and together and are great, great people,” the Rabbit Hole star, 43, recently told the Associated Press.
“I’m not one of those people that needs to be reminded of what I have.”

A cameo from Charlie Sheen? What is this? National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1?
In what was momentarily hilarious and fantastic news, socyberty reported that actor Charlie Sheen — known primarily from 1990's Men at Work and providing the voice of Charles B. "Charlie" Barkin in 1996's All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 — was looking to play a zombie in Season 2 of AMC's The Walking Dead.Would it be terrific? Yes! But remember, the site claiming that Sheen's reps "confirmed" the appearance is called "socyberty". Heard of it? Me neither, but congratulations on getting yourself plenty of free publicity!
Luckily, producer Gale Anne Hurd was able to set the record straight about the Three for the Road star's possible cameo. "That is insane," Hurd told HitFix. "I'm on Twitter and I just got someone saying, 'Say it isn't so.' We don't even know what the episodes are going to be, much less stunt-casting zombies.
