Manuel Summers Rodríguez (actor and first assistant director) is David Summers' brother and Manuel Summers' son. Marta Madruga (Patty) was both in the movie and in real life David Summers' girlfriend (now ex-wife). Gerardo Ortega (the movie villain Ricky Lacoste) is David Summers' cousin. Beatriz Galbó (still photographer) was Manuel Summers' girlfriend.
Ringo, the monkey that appears in the film, had to be calmed down with bread and beer.
