Sador targets Akir, a peaceful planet which is home to the humanoid Akiras. In his broadcast. Sador proclaims himself as ruler of Akir and informs the Akirans he will return with his armada in 7 days and that if the Akirans refuse to submit, he will destroy Akir. The teenage Akiran farmboy Shad volunteers to leave Akir and flies out in space and sets off to search for and hire warriors to defend Akir from Sador. In space, Shad who is joined by Nanelia, the beautiful daughter of crippled weapons scientist Dr. Hephaestus set off in search of warriors which they find and hire Gelt, a wanted outlaw.
