Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Box Office: Worst Opening Of Ajay Devgn (Photo Credit – YouTube)
Ajay Devgn had a box office resurgence as he embarked upon a new journey when he opened the decade with a blockbuster like Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero. The actor’s ability to adapt to the changing dynamics of the industry played a crucial role in determining his success in Drishyam 2, and Shaitaan majorly.
In fact, Ajay’s presence in Rrr and Gangubai Kathiawadi worked like a charm at the box office as well. However, while it was being speculated that the actor would continue the winning streak, he hit the lowest with his most anticipated release, Maidaan.

Missing On A Weekend
Starring Pawan Malhotra, Introducing Karan Hariharan
Written & Directed by Abhishek Jawkar
It takes guts to make a songless (well, almost) thriller with newcomers (well, almost).
Except for the powerful Pawan Malhotra who helms and nails the thriller and astutely anchors the action, Missing On A Weekend is bolstered by a bunch of over-enthusiastic newcomers, eager to please and even more eager to prove they can act.
If only….
Debutant Karan Hariharan is the stand-out debutant. He plays Laksh, a confused confounded 20-something orphaned-at-childhood, financially challenged go-getter who gets trapped in a situation with his rich friends while vacationing in Goa. The friends are all parasitical hedonists sponging on a spoilt rich arrogant friend called Prince who should have been slapped by his parents when he was a child.
Though some of the performances by newcomers who play dead Goan vacationers could do with a lot more...

The prolific Priyadarshan has had more than his share of title problems with his new Ajay Devgn-Akshaye Khanna-Bipasha Basu starrer. A hard-hitting film about love across caste barriers and honour killing set in Bihar, Priyan wanted to call it Ishqana. But Ishqiya came along and Priyan chose Garam Hawa. But now that title too had to be hastily abandoned and Priyan has called his film Aakrosh. Explains the exhausted director, "We wanted to call it Garam Hawa as homage to M.S. Sathyu's classic film of that name. But then Mr. Sathyu got very upset. We received a letter from him questioning our right to use his title. We immediately abandoned Garam Hawa. In order to use Aakrosh as the title, we got the original Aakrosh's director Govind Nihalani's permission. He was very generous about it." Of late, Priyan has been working over-time. "I need a break.
