Shattered Space Dlc changes a lot about Starfields playing style. As opposed to focusing on the wide-expanding universe, it focuses on one planet, Varunkaai. This change in the setting allows for more in-depth exploring and lore-building than in the previous games. As players explore the planet, they will interact with all kinds of new quests, locations, and dangers around every corner.
While exploring Varunkaai, players will learn more about the planets god, the Great Serpent, and the different smaller factions on the planet that help deepen the lore and intrigue of the planet. Players' main quest is to solve what happened to the previous faction, which they will do through exploring and quests. This new planet exploration in Shattered Space also leads to getting to know everything about it, including monsters that are proving to be even more frightening than before.

It was only after fans rewatched the entirety of "The Boys" in preparation for the season 4 premiere that many realized that the actor who played Ryan Butcher in the season 1 finale had been recast with the series' current actor, Cameron Crovetti. The introduction of the character was a glorified cameo, but when Crovetti took over in season 2, Ryan became what showrunner Eric Kripke would later call, "the key to season 4." With such an expanded role, the creative team wanted a more experienced child actor, and they found that with Crovetti. Fans became so familiar with the performance that they completely forgot the role wasn't originally his, which is understandable considering there was over a year of time separated from season 1 and season 2. Having two actors play one character isn't unheard of and recasting decisions happen all the time, but there's a third actor who has portrayed Ryan Butcher, and this...

Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to feature many Variants, with promo art confirming we'll see several different takes on the Merc with the Mouth (including Lady Deadpool).
Set photos previously revealed a clean-cut, scar-free Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson wearing a shiny leather costume and rocking long hair. That Variant doesn't appear to be based on anyone from the comics but has been dubbed "Samurai Deadpool" by many fans.
Now, new promo art for the Marvel Snap video game reveals a new look at that Deadpool Variant alongside Dogpool and the villainous Cassandra Nova.
During a recent interview with SFX Magazine, Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy hyped the threequel when he said, "There are going to be moments that the audiences are going to love, but I'll also say there are moments where they are going to lose their damn minds – like that times ten billion. Let go of logic to reach your true potential; as seen in The Matrix, "There is no spoon" signifies a conscious shift beyond reason. The quote "There is no spoon" is a Buddhist-influenced message in The Matrix, teaching Neo to silence the mind's perpetual dialogue. Neo's evolution into 'The One' is marked by his rejection of disbelief and fear, embracing a consciousness where anything is possible.
One of the critical lines in The Matrix is when a young boy tells Neo, "There is no spoon," a quote with multiple meanings for the franchise's hero. The Matrix character ensemble is led by Neo (Keanu Reeves), a computer hacker who comes to find that his reality is an illusion and he's the prophesied savior in a war against the machines that oppress humanity. He's aided by his mentor Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) and his romantic ally Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss). Neo's arc is one of self-discovery,...

New month, new recommendations from Deep Cuts Rising. This installment features random picks as well as selections reflecting the month of March 2024.
Regardless of how they came to be here, or what they’re about, these past movies can generally be considered overlooked, forgotten or unknown.
This month’s horror offerings include a killer robot, a haunted mini-mart and more.
The Telephone Box (1972)
Pictured: José Luis López Vázquez’s character talks to a boy inside the namesake of The Telephone Box.
Directed by Antonio Mercero.
An obvious rec for International Find a Pay Phone Booth Day (March 10) is La Cabina (a.k.a. The Telephone Box). This Spanish, made-for-tv short-film turns a silly situation into surreal horror. José Luis López Vázquez‘s unfortunate character enters a freshly installed phone booth, only to then learn it neither works nor allows him to leave. Morpheus and Neo's first encounter sets the stage for The One's journey and introduces iconic elements like the red and blue pill. The Oracle's meeting with Neo provides crucial guidance and sets the stage for his transformation into The One. Neo's ability to stop sentinels and Trinity's sacrifice in the Machine City are pivotal moments that lead to the climax of the trilogy.
The Matrix original trilogy is plagued with important and iconic moments, but some of them transcend the movie or are crucial to the plot in ways that make them even more relevant. Lana and Lily Wachowski's saga was born in 1999 with the first installment of the trilogy. The Matrix became an instant classic because of its philosophical approach to a sci-fi action movie and its unique aesthetic. The film spawned two more films that completed the original trilogy and an additional fourth film that doesn't add anything relevant to the story.

These cosplayers have created stunning recreations of the iconic looks from The Matrix movies, showcasing impressive attention to detail. The Matrix franchise offers distinct aesthetics for each of its three worlds: The Matrix, Neo's superhero-like attire, and the Real World's natural fiber fashion. The cosplayers perfectly capture the essence of the characters, from Neo's confidence and serenity to Trinity's mystique and strength.
Recreating looks from something as visually stunning as The Matrix movies is a tall order, but these artists have made cosplays that rival anything worn by Neo, Trinity, Agent Smith, and more. The aesthetic of The Matrix franchise has become iconic ever since the first film debuted in 1999 with its stylish amalgamation of minimalism, cyberpunk, Y2K, and bondage gear. Every Matrix movie only added to the litany of looks cosplayers could create, from The Merovingian's black and red dinner ensemble to The Twins all-white matching monochromatic outfits.

The Matrix Reloaded was part of a larger transmedia experiment that had the unfortunate effect of diminishing Jada Pinkett Smith's role. The original Matrix was such a pop culture-defining success that sequels were all but a certainty. What fans of the original couldn't have anticipated is just how divisive those follow-ups would be. Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions were both released in 2003 and while though boasted cutting-edge special effects and impressive action, they were also littered with ponderous dialogue, choppy plotting and anti-climatic endings. The sequels may not have fully delivered on expectations, but if nothing else, their ambition can be admired.
Sadly, the Matrix movies weren't much of a showcase of Jada Pinkett Smith either. Despite being hyped as a major new character and love interest for Laurence Fishburne's Morpheus, Smith's Niobe is largely offscreen for large chunks of both films. Niobe gets a slightly larger role in...

"The Matrix," it's been said, is a story with myriad interpretations. It's part messianic myth, part trans allegory, part exploration of choice theory. At the end of the day though, "The Matrix" is also a love story. This probably wasn't very obvious until the saga pivoted from the sleek, apocalyptic action of the initial trilogy and dove headfirst into romance with "The Matrix Resurrections." But the films have actually always been about love: if you didn't realize it before, you may not have been looking hard enough.
The romance between Neo (Keanu Reeves) and his ride-or-die, Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), is one of the major pillars of the "Matrix" saga. Their love is not the showiest aspect of the series — and until recently, one might have seen it as more of an afterthought. But even before "Resurrections" dedicated its story to the earth-altering power of love, Neo and Trinity were the template for sci-fi romance.

In a strange way, Agent Smith may have been the ultimate hero of The Matrix trilogy. While Keanu Reeves' Neo fought various foes throughout the franchise, Hugo Weaving's Agent Smith was, by far, the most compelling. In the original Matrix, Smith was also a perfect symbol of the machine world itself - though underneath that was an all-too-human ego and arrogrance. Smith once described the human race as a "virus" that would destroy the world if left unchecked; by the end of the Matrix Revolutions, he had infected the system itself and essentially become the very thing he once detested.
Smith was the dark mirror of Neo throughout the first three films, with The Oracle even explaining the former Agent was The One's negative side. That's why their journeys in the series paralleled so well. Smith "killing" Neo allowed his rebirth as The One, with the same being true of Neo "destroying" Smith.

The word that kept coming to mind while watching The Matrix Resurrections was “echo.” Not déjà vu — not the spooky sensation of having dreamt or lived something already without being able to account for when or where it happened. But echo: in which you know the origin, you can pinpoint the source, and yet here it comes, boomeranging back, somewhat the same as before, but also different. Distorted.
A case in point: the return of familiar characters, like Morpheus and Mr. Smith — unforgettably played by Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving,...

Using online opinions to help predict results, The Daily Beast's Election Oracle nailed almost every major race last week. Randall Lane on whether this is the future of polling.
George Gallup described polling simply as the science of reflecting public opinion, and like any science, it's only as good as the technology driving it. The first "modern" election polls, launched between the World Wars by Literary Digest, leveraged a new innovation, air mail, but failed famously in 1936, as the disproportionately wealthy audience forecast an Alf Landon landslide over Fdr. Telephone surveys proved better, but also favored the rich at first (when phones were a luxury) and the old more recently (since younger voters tend to be cell-only, unreachable by pollsters). Exit polls, demographic modeling, prediction markets-all have been deployed to varied results.
