Bravo recently announced the iconic Lisa Rinna’s departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and it's time to talk about some of her most amusing or awkward moments. Although her departure is imminent, she had some legendary scenes during her eight seasons on the reality TV series. Part of Lisa’s appeal on Rhobh was her ability to switch from hilarious to horrible in mere minutes.
Much of Lisa’s screen time was filled with blowouts and confrontations, and her quips often lightened the dramatic atmosphere, if they weren't totally cringe-inducing. It was for viewers to decide whether Lisa came off as funny or tone-deaf. Still, Lisa had many fiery feuds on Rhobh throughout her stint. She was the resident pot-stirrer on the wildly popular reality TV series. Although there are too many to count, there are some standout moments to look back on, as the iconic TV villain says goodbye.

Previously on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at Dorit’s dinner party, Pk and Dorit make a few comments that irritate Lisa Rinna and Eileen, Eden Sassoon, daughter of acclaimed hairstylist Vidal Sassoon, joins the cast, and Camille’s luncheon turns sour when Dorit and Eileen butt heads. Sweet, sweet Kyle. Ever the optimist, she gets the ladies together again for an ill-fated game night in this episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It's like these ladies have never had a party go wrong in the past. "Compromising Positions" is a fitting title for 60 minutes of nonsense from grown women unashamed about miming sex acts and giving each other crystals for healing.
And, yes, we are still talking about Erika's pantyless vagina, and Dorit is still digging her own grave. On the bright side, we get a little peek at one of our old faves when Kim Richards makes a cameo, and a good old-fashioned catfight breaks out again over absolutely nothing.

It’s game night again on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — and it doesn’t take long for things to get dirty! Kyle Richards hosts the night as the ladies play the “puppet game”, where one person holds another person’s arms and makes them act out something which the others have to guess. But this is the Rhobh ladies we’re talking about, so they quickly manage to see the rude side of every single charade. It’s no wonder the episode is titled Compromising Positions, as Lisa Vanderpump trying to act out “modeling” on Lisa Rinna quickly becomes a combination of “touching...read more...

[This is a review of The Americans season 2, episode 6. There will be Spoilers.]
-
How much emotional distress can you cram into a single hour of television? Let The Americans show you. ‘Behind the Red Door’ is another vast and emotionally complex episode of a series whose sophomore season is just as wildly impressive as the one preceding it – and, naturally, it is one that comes at great emotional expense of the series’ characters.
Whatever togetherness Philip and Elizabeth may feel while handling the various operations and dealings asked of them by the Center (and in this case, Claudia), the fact remains their experiences – or at least theyway they ...

Chicago – Joan Allen, the extraordinary Midwestern born actor, came back to her old Steppenwolf Theatre stomping grounds to accept the Career Achievement Award from the Chicago International Film Festival on Sunday, October 14th. Known for her Academy Award nominated roles in “Nixon” and “The Contender,” Allen has had a film career full of highlights.

Born in Rochelle, Illinois, Joan Allen studied theater at both Northern Illinois University and Eastern Illinois University – where she met John Malkovich – and that connection led to her joining the famed Chicago company Steppenwolf Theatre in 1977. In the midst of pursuing a theater career, her first major film role was in “Compromising Positions” (1985). After notable parts in “Manhunter” (1986), “Peggy Sue Got Married” (1986) and “Tucker: The Man and His Dreams” (1988), she broke through with the Oscar nominated...

It’s been one heck of a summer run for White Collar.
And with the USA Network smash on hiatus - and already renewed for Season 5! - now seemed like the idea time to take a look back and grade what we've seen so far on Season 4, TV Fanatic Report Card style...
Best Episode: “Identity Crisis” was a fun episode that could have sent the cast of National Treasure running for the hills. The twists and turns regarding the Culper legacy had me wanting to hit the library for some follow-up reading. If only they knew that the treasure was real!
Best Teamwork Moment: The scene between Elizabeth, Peter, Sara and Neal in “Compromising Positions” was a delightfully unexpected moment of solidarity between the four. As awkward as it was to hear and see Elizabeth and Neal give Peter and Sara tips on how to pose for salacious photos to...

White Collar S04E07: "Compromising Positions"
I am not a professor of law, nor am I a policeman, nor even a celebrated gentleman detective. Don't come to me with your legal questions, is what I'm saying, because I don't know everything about the law! I Do know that things that are against the law aren't legal. You can't just go and do something totally illegal and be like, "I didn't break the law just now," because you'd be wrong. You did. Go to jail. White... More >>...

If there was ever a time I questioned the solvency of White Collar's momentum, tonight's episode put some plot lines in "Compromising Positions."
Between the renewed suspicions forming between Peter and Neal, to the literally speechless moment that found both Elizabeth and Neal coaching Peter and Sara how to conduct a convincingly steamy affair, I was at a loss at how to even begin evaluating this hour.
This week's White Collar promo had me convinced that this installment would uncover much about Sam and potentially Ellen's murder. Much to my chagrin, the clips they chose were simply the ones that included Treat Williams. These moments, I might add, added up to a grand total of 1% of the episode as a whole.
Instead, we found ourselves in an unnecessarily complicated plot involving a compromised attorney who needed infallible evidence to convict a criminal. Leave it to Peter to have to...

If there's a silver lining to be found regarding J.J.'s departure on Criminal Minds (and you'd have to look long and hard for one) it's that the Bau seems as shaken up as we are.
We may never understand why this terrific character was written out, and it seems that neither can Hotch, who spent much of "Compromising Positions" coming to grips with it.
Beneath this subtext was another solid episode of Criminal Minds, with a twisted and disturbing attacker on the loose, but J.J.'s absence seemed to be the dominant theme.
Filling A Void: Hotch (Thomas Gibson) dealt with J.J.'s absence early and often.
With a string of married couples being slain in Ohio, Garcia offered to travel with the rest of the team in J.J.'s place, since their jobs were the most similar ... in theory, at least.
Predictably, she had...

J.J. is gone, but as we noted in our Criminal Minds review earlier, the top-notch writing that's made the crime drama so compelling for five-plus seasons is still very much alive.
In next week's episode, the Bau tries to hunt down a killer preying on couples killed after they're forced to have sex, potentially by an UnSub frustrated by his own impotence.
As Garcia struggles to take over J.J.’s responsibilities, Prentiss uses herself as bait to keep the killer from hurting more civilians. Here's a promo for "Compromising Positions" ...

Next week, the remaining cast members attempt to right the ship ... and fill the void. Hotchner looking to one of the team to take Jj's vacant role is a major plot component.
