This series was a sort of follow-up to Shelley Duvall's 'Faerie Tale Theatre.' Many actors appeared in both series.
Johnny "Appleseed" Chapman, Ponce de Leon, Davy Crockett, and Annie Oakley are the only characters in this anthology series that are based upon actual historical figures.
