Ernie Lively, an actor best known for playing the father of his daughter Blake Lively's character in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, has passed away. Lively, whose career as an actor spanned 50 years, reportedly died on Thursday of cardiac complications in Los Angeles while surrounded by his wife and all of his children. He was 74 years old.

New Delhi, March 8 (Ians) Hyper localisation and hyper personalisation will drive customer engagement in a digitally connected world, said a new report on Monday from Airtel Business, the business-to-business unit of telecom major Bharti Airtel.

Titled "Customer Engagement Redefined. Anytime. Anywhere," the report calls out the need for reimagining customer journeys in an increasingly digitally connected world with multiple personal devices and channels.

This requires businesses to create omni-channel engagement platforms that can deliver highly personalised and hyper-localised, contextual experiences to customers.

"Today, customers are looking for online-first and omni-channel experiences. This requires brands to accelerate their digital transformation journeys and reimagine customer engagement," Ajay Chitkara, Director and CEO, Airtel Business, said in a statement.

The business report has identified five pillars for redefining customer engagement journeys including intelligent interactions, hyper personalisation, connected across channels, customer's choice of time, and robust and secure connectivity.

Adapted from the series of crime novels by Joe Ide, “Iq” centers on Isaiah Quintabe, a brilliant 26-year old African American private eye from East Long Beach whose local reputation earned him the nickname Iq. Isaiah’s Watson is Juanell Dodson, a semi-reformed East Side Crip who re-enters Iq’s life with a big payday case.

Max Wright, best known for playing patriarch Willie Tanner on the sitcom “Alf,” died Wednesday. He was 75.

Wright’s family confirmed his death to TMZ. The actor died in his home in Hermosa Beach, Calif., after years of battling cancer. Wright was diagnosed with Lymphona in 1995.

Wright is most famous for his role as the adoptive father to Alf, a back-talking alien puppet who crash-landed on Earth. The series ran from 1986 to 1990 on NBC and featured Wright in every season. His other television credits include episodes of shows such as “Norm,” “Murphy Brown,” “Friends,” “Quantum Leap,” “Misfits of Science,” “Cheers,” “Buffalo Bill,” “Taxi” and “The Drew Carey Show.”

Max Wright, best known as the father on the 1980s sitcom Alf, died Wednesday at his home in California. He was 75.

Wright passed away from cancer, our sister site Deadline reports.

He played Willie Tanner for all four seasons of Alf, NBC’s comedy about an alien life form, which meant he often had to act opposite a puppet of the titular character. Though the series went for laughs, “It was hard work, and very grim,” Wright later told People of the job.
