For once, a Harlan Coben Netflix series is staying in the good ol’ U-S of A.

Netflix has greenlit an eight-episode adaptation of American thriller/mystery-writer Coben’s novel “I Will Find You.” The Robert Hull-run limited series will mark Coben’s first Netflix adaptation set in the U.S.

“I Will Find You” sees a father serving life in prison after being convicted of murdering his own son. Here’s the deal though: Dad didn’t do it, and the son may still be alive — but not of that can be proven from the inside. Yes, tonight there’s gonna be a jailbreak.

Coben will executive produce through his Final Twist Productions; John Weber also executive produces. As do Bryan Wynbrandt and Steven Lilien, who worked with Hull on NBC’s “Quantum Leap” remake.

Coben is one of the most prolific authors out there, and almost certainly Netflix’s number 1 novelist.

The streamer has greenlit a limited series based on Coben’s novel I Will Find You. The drama is the latest product of an overall deal Netflix signed with the best-selling author back in 2018 and will be the first U.S.-based series based on one of Coben’s books. The streamer has given a series order to “I Will Find You,” the first U.S. scripted series under Coben’s creative partnership with Netflix. The eight-episode limited series will be adapted from the author’s 2023 novel by showrunner Robert Hull.

“I Will Find You” follows an innocent father serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son. When he receives evidence that his son my still be alive, he is determined to break out of prison to discover the truth.

Coben will executive produce “I Will Find You” via his Final Twist Productions banner, alongside showrunner Hull, Bryan Wynbrandt (“Quantum Leap”), Steven Lilien (“Quantum Leap”) and John Weber. Coben and Hull serve as co-creators of the series adaptation.

Eleazar plays Detective Kat Donovan, who is looking for missing people and finds her ex-boyfriend’s picture on a dating app. The finding hurts people again because he went missing without a trace 11 years ago.

The story is about Donovan’s search for information about the disappearance of her fiancé and the murder of her father, which has not been solved. She finds out truths that have been kept secret for years as she digs deeper.

The British version features many talented people from the UK. Ashley Walters, Richard Armitage, and Sir Lenny Henry play leading parts. Steve Pemberton, Jessica Plummer, Mary Malone, Lisa Faulkner, and James Nesbitt also appear in the movie.

Outside of her acting and producing work, Reese Witherspoon is known to tout other people’s novels via her Reese’s Book Club. Soon, she’ll be touting a book of her own.

Witherspoon announced that she is co-writing a thriller novel with bestselling mystery author Harlan Coben. Witherspoon did not yet reveal the title of the book, but it is set for publication on Oct. 14, 2025, according to a preorder webpage. The site also says the novel is 352 pages and will be distributed by Grand Central Publishing.

“I’m beyond excited to share that I’m co-writing my very first thriller with #1 bestselling author, @harlancoben!” Witherspoon wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her and Coben. “As a massive fan of Harlan’s work, I can’t believe he agreed to co-author a novel with me. I’m either the most persuasive person alive or the idea of this book is just Too Good!

Right in the midst of their co-headlining tour with The War on Drugs, The National have announced Rome, a new live album set for release on December 13th.

The album was recorded live, without any overdubs, during a June 3rd, 2024 show at Rome’s Cavea at Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. It’s comprised of 21 tracks and will be released as both a digital and 2xLP vinyl set. Members of The National’s Cherry Tree fan club will also be able to purchase a red, green, and white triple LP (a la the Italian flag) with five additional songs.
