Shawn Levy's "Deadpool & Wolverine," like "Spider-Man: No Way Home" before it, exists to show off a certain degree of corporate synergy. While "No Way Home" flaunted that Disney was able to wrangle multiple character from Sony-owned Spider-Man pictures, "Deadpool" shows off its ownership of multiple superhero characters once overseen by 20th Century Fox. The film is a parade of cameos, each one meant to elicit cheers from an eager audience of fans, presuming they are familiar with years of studio insider baseball. Curiously, the film assumes audiences have warm fuzzy feelings about movies once mocked as the worst the genre had to offer. Who knew audiences in 2024 would feel wistful about "Elektra?"

Hell Camp exposes the horrifying reality of teen therapy camps, revealing kidnapping, abuse, and negligence by the staff. Steve Cartisano's Challenger Foundation engaged in mental manipulation, withholding medical care, and denying law enforcement access to the teens. These unregulated camps operated illegally, used nooses and abuse as forms of control, and even the camp owner's own son did not receive proper treatment.

This article contains spoilers for Hell Camp: Teen NightmareThe Netflix documentary Hell Camp: Teen Nightmare shines a light on the troubled teen industry started by Steve Cartisano, revealing many shocking facts. In recent years, the troubled teen industry and wilderness "therapy" camps have come under scrutiny for their abusive staff, inhumane conditions, and traumatic outcomes. Part of this is thanks to advocates like Paris Hilton and Bhad Bhabie who experienced the horrors firsthand.

Tom Holland-fronted short film “Last Call” is set to premiere at Tribeca Film Festival, Variety can exclusively confirm.

The short is directed by his younger brother Harry Holland and also features Lindsay Duncan (“Birdman”).

“Last Call” tells the story of Kate, a desperate mother who is trying to reconnect with her son.

“Navigating an obvious void, Kate will finally have the chance to ask the questions that have haunted her past, and will decide her future,” reads the logline.

The film is in part an exploration of mental health and Harry Holland did extensive research, consulting with charities and individuals, as part of the project. It was co-written by Will South and produced by Marie-Elena Dyche (“The Blind”).

“I wanted to make a movie to prompt a conversation on our mental frailties, which are ever more exposed by this modern world,” said Harry Holland.
