Kathy Griffin has stage one lung cancer, but the famous comedian and her doctors are feeling good about her recovery. On Instagram, Griffin posted a statement revealing her diagnosis, noting that she had managed to catch it early as the cancer is stage one and only affecting her left lung at this time. Kathy Griffin also says she's about to have surgery to have the cancer removed.
Fortunately, Griffin's doctors feel that if the surgery is successful, the cancer will be completely gone without the need for chemotherapy treatments. The comedian also intends to be back to 100% within a matter of weeks. You can read Griffin's statement below.

In today’s TV news roundup, FX announced premiere dates its spring slate, and Netflix announced additional cast members for “Pieces of Her.”
Casting
Gil Birmingham, Terry O’Quinn and Calum Worthy have been cast in Netflix’s thriller series “Pieces of Her.” They join previously announced cast members Toni Collette, Bella Heathcote, Jessica Barden, David Wenham, Joe Dempsie, Jacob Scipio and Omari Hardwick. “Pieces of Her,” based on Karin Slaughter‘s New York Times bestseller, follows 30-year-old Andy Oliver (Heathcote) and her mother Laura (Collette) whose lives are turned upside-down following a random act of violence in their quiet Georgia town. Looking for answers, Andy journeys across the country to uncover the mysteries of her family. Executive producers are showrunner Charlotte Stoudt, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Janice Williams, Slaughter, Minkie Spiro, Lesli Linka Glatter and Casey Haver.

Sad13’s Sadie Dupuis has revealed a spooky video for “The Crow” in time for Halloween.
The animated video for the Haunted Painting track features skeletal chicks in a nest, a ghost trying on clothes, and Dupuis ordering a drink from a sea monster. “What was it like to come of age/In such a cruel place,” she sings. “Supping on the bones/Of your old chaperones?”
“’The Crow’ wound up the heaviest song on Haunted Painting, although the demo was originally inspired by Clairo and solo Rob Crow,” Dupuis said in a statement.

FX is pushing the 10th season of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story” to next year, the cable channel revealed Tuesday, while announcing its slate of programming through 2021. In other “Ahs” news, FX has placed a series order for Murphy-created spinoff “American Horror Stories,” a “weekly anthology series that will feature a different horror story each episode.”
Along with “Ahs” and its offshoot (which Murphy first teased earlier this month), FX’s roster through the coming year includes freshman series “A Teacher,” “The Old Man,” “Y: The Last Man,” an untitled anthology from B.J. Novak, “A Wilderness of Error,” “Hip Hop Untold,” “Hysterical” and “Pride,” which will join renewed series “Atlanta,” “American Crime Story,” “Archer,” “Better Things,” “Breeders,” “Cake,” “Dave,” “Fargo,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Mayans M.C.,” “Mr Inbetween,” “Pose,” “Snowfall,” “The Weekly” and “What We Do in the Shadows.”
