The best Christian movies include everything from adaptations of the best-known biblical stories to modern tales that subtly weave in Christian characters and themes to movies that are explicitly by Christians, for Christian markets. "Christian movies" is a bit of a vague genre, particularly considering how widely encompassing the term "Christian" is itself. One of three Abrahamic religions alongside Judaism and Islam, Christianity includes everything from Catholicism to Protestantism to Mormonism. Though, on the surface, these denominations may appear similar, they are different enough that bloody wars have frequently been fought between the groups.
Many movies could be considered Christian, considering how influential the Bible has been on everything from The Lord of the Rings to A Serious Man. But to put stricter parameters on the genre and ensure more unknown films are included, a good list of the best Christian movies should strictly include movies that adapt Christian texts and stories,...

Sammo Hung is a legend in martial arts and kung fu cinema, playing many different roles as an actor and also producing, directing, and choreographing fight sequences, setting the trend on many aspects of the genre overall. He was a pivotal figure in the Hong Kong New Wave movement, creating some of the best kung fu films of the 1980s, popularizing the kung fu genre to a larger, international audience with his focus on clever stories, dramatic narratives, and more Western-style action and special effects, as well as other technical aspects, like synchronous sound and filming movies on different locations.
Whether in front of the camera or behind it, Sammo has left his mark on the culture of martial arts cinema. Films like The Prodigal Son and Pedicab Driver are landmarks in their genre, with stand-out acting, storytelling, and fight scenes that are as iconic today as they were back then.

Recently, Helldivers 2 has had a lot of ups and downs, as it took a major hit from a recent announcement, causing players in 177 countries (now 180) to lose access to their game. However, this situation led to one of the biggest works of collaboration the gaming community has seen.
The situation in question was related to Sony forcing players to link their PC accounts to a Psn account, something that many gamers can’t physically do. After the changes made by Arrowhead and Sony were retracted, a fan designed a cape to commemorate the situation. Now, thanks to Johan Pilestedt, we know it may be real and coming soon.

It has been a rough few days for the gaming community as games like Helldivers 2 take a massive hit with a review bomb to show Sony that gamers won’t accept their silly account linking policy, while Microsoft jumps on the bad news bandwagon by closing down 4 different studios all at once.
These four different studios have all created different games that have sadly had a rough time in terms of sales and attention-getting, except for Hi-Fi Rush. These studios are Arkane Austin, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog Games, and Roundhouse Games, which were all in charge of releasing a few games that sadly fell through.
After this recent announcement, Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt released a tweet commenting on the recent news, but sadly, it didn’t go the way he planned.

For Helldivers 2 fans and staff, the past few days have been an insane journey. But with official confirmation that the war is finally over, fans have gone back to their usual jovial selves.
Apparently, that includes making mock-up in-game cosmetics to commemorate what has been an intense, exhausting war against Sony for its recent decision to force a Psn link on Steam players to access their Helldivers 2 accounts. And one amusing community design has fans demanding that it be added to the game.

This year’s Honorary Palme d’or recipient Michael Douglas received a lengthy standing ovation as he cruised on stage in Buñuel theatre to chair a masterclass session where he broke down his career as an actor and producer.
Opening the session, Douglas said that he has a long history with the Cannes Film Festival, which began with his father, Kirk, who met his stepmother Anna at the festival.
He went on to list some of the films he has brought to the Croisette over the years, including Steven Soderbergh’s pic Behind the Candelabra, which screened in 2013. Douglas said that at the time, his performance as Liberace in the pic was in the pole position to nab the Festival’s Best Actor prize, but his momentum was quashed by critics who said the project couldn’t be described as a feature film because it was set to be released on HBO in the US.

If Wing Chun had a sponsor in cinema before the endless Ip Man movies, then it would be Sammo Hung. With “The Prodigal Son” he made what many would consider the definitive Wing Chun movie. Yet three years before, he also helmed another fictional version of the real-life exponent Leung Jan, only this time at the latter stages of his life. “Warriors Two” whist the lesser of the two, remains an interesting part of the Sammo Hung filmography, as it’s the transition from the more traditional form of martial arts movies, to his increasingly varied work that was to follow

The crime drama series Prodigal Son started airing on Fox in October 2019 and was picked up for a full season of 22 episodes, 15 of which have aired thus far.
The series follows the life of skilled profiler Malcolm Bright who decided to pursue studying serial killers because his father was one. Constantly haunted with memories of what he saw as a child and turning his father in, he's unable to sleep, hold down relationships, and do much of anything but work tirelessly to take down other serial killers. Through it all, he leans on Gil Arroyo, the NYPD lieutenant who arrested his father, and deals with internal turmoil and worry that he might be like his father.

One of the most venerated titles in their filmography, the Shaw Brothers studios hit a pop-culture high with this engaging kung-fu masterpiece. Featuring director Chang Cheh at the top of his game and introducing several soon-to-be stars from their lauded cache of talent, ‘Five Deadly Venoms’ emerged as one of the most important works in the genre even though it’s a case of the later impact superseding the final product.
About to finally die, the master instructs his final student Yang Tieh to check on the activities of his former pupils, each of whom knows a unique and specific style of kung-fu. In The Son season 2, episode 3, the McCullough pulls the tail of “The Blind Tiger.”
This The Son review contains spoilers.
The Son Season 2 Episode 3
In The Son, season 2, episode 3, "The Blind Tiger," gets downright Biblical. In the beginning, we see the slaughter of livestock which Pete (Henry Garrett) himself says looks like something out of the Old Testament, and the follow-up scene sets up a scenario borrowed from The Prodigal Son. When it comes to the sons of the First Son of Texas, this kind of roundup could result in a Cain and Abel solution.
Eli McCullough may run his household, and Pierce Brosnan may reign supreme over the series itself, but every character is expertly drawn and the sibling rivalry is fascinating. Phineas (David Wilson Barnes) and Pete respect, admire and like each other. Pete really did take the prodigal son route, heading south with María García (Paola Núñez...

Match #1: Braun Strowman & Ricochet def. Drew McIntyre & Baron Corbin The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Among the long, long list of Drew McIntyre’s superior attributes — hard head, wicked kick — we can now add one more: He has a very long memory. Still smarting over the win Baron Corbin stole from him last week on Raw, The Scottish Psychopath straight-up bailed on the former Constable in Raw’s opening tag team match, leaving him to the mercy of Ricochet and Braun Strowman. For what it’s worth, however, Corbin had a chance to settle up with the former Nxt Champion,...

How do you help a dead guy?
That's what Miles, Cara, and Rakesh tried to figure out on God Friended Me Season 1 Episode 8.
The God account could have easily suggested Alfie Collins instead of the late Sal, but there wouldn't be any mystery about that, nor would our trio of detectives find all the breadcrumbs that made this story so worthwhile.
Like Miles said, "you never know where a good story might go."
The God account led them to Sal's estate sale where they found the picture of him and young Alfie with "Matthew 6:21" written on the back.
Though they initially thought it was a bible verse, Cara's sleuthing skills revealed that Matthew was the name of Sal's boat, and "621" was the combination to safe harboring a book written by Sal about all the things he wished he could have said to his stepson, Alfie.
Miles: They send me...

During the mid 1990’s, I happened to stumble across a kung fu movie called “The Prodigal Son“, which changed my life forever. It had everything, awesome Kung Fu, Comedy, Drama, Training Sequences and the star of the show, Lam Ching Ying. It was only a few years later when I read Lam Ching Ying had passed away in 1997 from liver cancer, I was deeply saddened. Since then, I have had the privilege to collect many of his movies, Lam Ching Ying was not only a great Martial Artist and Stuntman, but he was also a very good Actor.
Lam Ching Ying joined the Peking Opera School at a very young age, under the guidance of Madame Fan Fok Fa. By the age of 17, Lam became a stuntman appearing in Shaw Brothers movies such as...
