The plane Maria get in at the Monticello airport is a 1976 Beechcraft B55 Baron, registration N711FA. As of 2022 it is still registered and flying. First introduced in 1961, variants of this plane are still in production as of 2022 with about 7,000 having been manufactured.
At the time of this film, the Campbell Soup Company had a line of non-condensed, single-serving soups called "Soup for One". Allan can be seen with cans of this product in his apartment. This also explains the disclaimer in the end credits.

Second-billed Marcia Strassman does not appear in the movie until approximately the thirty-four minute mark.
