Plot

A mourning workaholic's deceased wife comes back to haunt him, but in a benevolent way, trying to get him to change his dreary attorney life into a life where he has a relationship with his children and is happier with himself.

Workaholic attorney Bob O'Hara (Asner) is devastated when his wife (Hartley) dies suddenly. She returns to "haunt" him, however, (a la "Topper") and her mission is to persuade him to slow down, watch his own health, and renew relationships with his two grown children (Foster and Lang.)—Herman Seifer <alagain@aol.com>

Bob O'Hara's an attorney, whose boss works him to the bone. He promised his wife, Harry that they would go on a vacation, which they are about to do but all of a sudden his wife collapses and dies. Bob is devatated. One night, he believes that he sees her and he does, her ghost, who at first is oblivious to the fact that she is dead, but she eventually realizes it. Bob in the meantime is perceived to be off his rocker. He is taken to a doctor who tells him that he has a heart condition that could prove fatal unless he alters his lifestyle, which means he has stop working the way he does. Which won't be easy since his boss is very demanding, but Harry's help he does it. He also decides to sell his house and just hit the road, which doesn't make his son happy.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
