Actor Angus MacInnes, who had a role in the very first Star Wars film that spawned a massive franchise, has passed away. He was 77 years old.
On MacInnes' Facebook page, a statement was shared by his family announcing his death. The post was shared on Dec. 30, though it revealed that the actor died on Dec. 23, noting that he "left us peacefully, surrounded by his family and love." Some of his roles are touched on in the announcement, though it's noted how there had always been a "special place in his heart" for Star Wars fans.
