In a new preview clip from Season 17 of Sister Wives, Kody Brown makes some bold accusations against his now-ex-wife, Christine Brown.

Christine publicly announced her split from Kody in November 2021, and the events leading up to the demise of their spiritual marriage will play out during Season 17, premiering later this month.

Kody has earned himself a reputation among Sister Wives viewers as being outspoken and often insulting towards his wives.

Season 17 of Sister Wives is only a little over a week away from its debut, and meanwhile, Meri has been staying busy.

Christine Brown of Sister Wives revealed the final straw that led her to split from her now ex-husband, Kody Brown.

In November 2021, Christine officially announced her split from Kody in the form of an Instagram post after more than 25 years together as spiritual spouses.

Christine became Kody’s third wife in 1994, joining his first wife, Meri Brown, and his second wife, Janelle Brown. Christine has advocated for plural marriage for years, but in a recent interview with People, she revealed that she’s leaving polygamy behind for a new life as a monogamist.

“I get to live life for me,” Christine told the publication, adding, “I’m just done putting up with people who I don’t need in my life.”

World premiere of Nordic disaster movie The Wave to open festival in Haugesund.

Joachim Trier’s Louder Than Bombs, starring Jesse Eisenberg, has been named as the closing film of the 43rd Norwegian International Film Festival (Aug 16-21) in Haugesund.

The drama, about how a father and his two sons confront their feelings of their deceased wife and mother, was Norway’s first Palme d’Or contender at Cannes in 36 years and is set to play at Toronto next month.

As previously announced, Niff will open with the world premiere of Roar Uthaug’s disaster movie, The Wave (Bølgen), when the festival is launched by Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon on Aug 16.

It means Norwegian films will both open and close the festival.

Tonje Hardersen, who was named the new Niff festival director in March, said: “I am very happy to see that local cinema is so well represented, and in so many genres.”
