The film was photographed in the Romanian Danube Delta which is the second largest river delta in Europe.The approximate size of the Romanian Danube Delta is 3,446 km².The delta is a complex Eco-system(a low alluvial plain covered by wetlands and water and consisting of an intricate pattern of marshes, channels, stream-lets and lakes).It is part of the World Heritage Sites.
The film received a honorable mention (diploma) at the Gottwaldov Film Festival, 1979, Czechoslovakia.
