Angie Dickinson in Sergent Anderson (1974)

Trivia

Sergent Anderson

Edit
Angie Dickinson admits in interviews that making this show was a bad experience, and she would not do it again if she had it over to do again but she still like the show.
Police woman Pepper Anderson is based on real life female NYPD police detective Susan Collins.
The pilot for this show aired on an episode of "Police Story (1973)" titled "The Gamble". However, Angie Dickinson's character's name in that episode was Lisa Beaumont, and Bert Convy played the role of her commanding officer. Convy was later replaced by Earl Holliman.
During the first season, Sergeant Suzanne "Pepper" Anderson's (Angie Dickinson's) autistic younger sister Cheryl (Nicole Kallis) was seen on an occasional basis. However, she was dropped before the second season.
Merchandising for the series included a poseable Pepper Anderson action figure, with accessory sets including outfits (diver, flight attendant, et cetera) and cartoon storyboards.
