Edit
Fourteen cars, costing $155,000, were destroyed in the film's climatic demolition sequence.
The final film for veteran character actors Patsy Kelly and Douglas Fowley and Australian actress Marjorie Bennett.
Claire's car in one of the chases is a rare red 1977 Lincoln Continental Mark V with a "steel roof", meaning the standard vinyl roof is missing. It was a "delete option" for a $277 credit when ordering the car from the factory.
Jane's car is a 1960 Jaguar Mk IX. Only 10,009 were made from 1959 to 1961.
At the end of the film, the gang arrives in a Checker Aerobus 9-door station wagon. As the name implies, it was designed for use by hotels to shuttle passengers to and from airports. It was 22.5 feet (6.86 meters) long. Only 3,568 of all versions were made from 1962 to 1977.
