According to Quinlan's Film Stars published 2000 listings under Richard Burton and Geraldine Fitzgerald, the film was unreleased.
The male peregrine falcons of the film are credited in the cast, and were named "Adam's Brother" and "Prince Albert". The Falconer was Dr. Heinz Meng, a leading American ornithologist and the first to breed peregrines in captivity on the rooftop of the faculty center of his college for reintroduction into the wild.
