Can You Hear the Laughter? The Story of Freddie Prinze

1 review

Cruel law of show business

OK, I admit that I am French and not necessarily familiarized by every actor or artist from the USA. But I have watched US features and series since forty years now, even the most obscure ones, and I have never heard of this guy. But besides this, I agree that it's fine to speak about this meteoric star...Why should not he deserve to have a movie dedicated to him? I guess many more actors or actresses should have a movie dedicated to their memory too. And I have always craved for rise and fall schemes, and not only for gangsters, but for artists too. And in the TV movies industry, those schemes are very usual...You find many of them. many, many...I also find that the main actor looks very like the true Freddie Prinz. Yes, I appreciated this little TV movie very much. And this story is pretty much close to the true reality of how the backstage atmosphere is.
