I saw "Nie zaznasz spokoju" (You will not find peace) when I was a teenager and then quite recently. The plot is about the tragic story of two brothers, one of whom came into conflict with the law. Tolek (Krzysztof Janczar) hasn't changed since leaving prison. He becomes the leader of a gang of young criminals, with whom he plans another heist and persuades his younger brother, Janek (Piotr Pregowski), to join the gang. I liked " You will not find peace" because it showed me a subculture of criminal young people, which I didn't know about in a convincing way. I was also moved by the emotional side of the story. The plot was relatively fast-paced, and I also appreciated the realism in showing the reality of those years. Great performances of young actors and somewhat older actors like Emilia Krakowska and Witold Lutkiewicz have to be mentioned too. As far as I remember, the film was well received by critics and won several national awards.
