A24’s The Moment has begun shooting in London and is set to star a cavalcade of Hollywood stars as well as Charli xcx.

Fresh off of winning three Grammys for her 2024 album Brat, Charli xcx is now in London filming A24’s mystery project The Moment, as reported by Screen Daily. A24 has been particularly quiet about the project, which was announced in January 2025 and no plot details have been made officially available but Screen Daily has heard rumours that the film is about a pop star preparing for their first tour.

Charli xcx will be joined by Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Trew Mullen, Isaac Cole Powell, Rish Shah, Kate Berlant and Jamie Demetriou in the film. Aidan Zamiri, who has directed several music videos for Charli xcx as well as FKA Twigs and Billie Eilish among others, is directing and co-writing the script with Bertie Brandes.

Tyler, The Creator will “See You Again” very soon — but this time, on the big screen.

The Grammy Award-winning artist will make his film debut with the star-studded “Marty Supreme” alongside Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet. Josh Safdie is directing the A24 film from a script he co-wrote with Ronald Bronstein.

“Marty Supreme” is a fictionalized, original feature with official plot details being kept under wraps. However, Variety previously reported that the film may be loosely inspired by the life of Marty Reisman, a ping pong champion who won 22 major ping pong titles from 1946 to 2002, and five bronze medals at the World Table Tennis Championships, across his career. He also made history as the oldest player to win an open national competition in a racket sport while competing in the United States National Hardbat Championship. Reisman died in 2012.

For the film, Chalamet, Safdie, Bronstein, Eli Bush, Anthony Katagas, and A24 produce.

Just ask Mike Flanagan, who recently spoke about the massive pressure hes put himself under to live up to expectations for the next The Exorcist feature. Tackling something that audiences already know is bound to garner some divisive feedback, but thats part of the fun for these professionals. So, when we heard that Daniel Goldhaber would be the helmer behind the remake of the iconic 1978 mondo horror feature, Faces of Death, we were completely ready to hop in and go along for the ride. With the unique vision that he poured into 2018s Cam (which also served as his directorial debut), the filmmaker fully proved himself capable of taking a beloved piece of horror IP and catching it up for a modern audience.

Jermaine Fowler has been tapped as a lead opposite Tracy Morgan in Paramount+ new multi-camera comedy series Crutch, an offshoot from CBS’ long-running sitcom The Neighborhood.

Developed by Owen Smith, who will serve as showrunner, Crutch centers on Francois “Frank” Crutchfield (Morgan), who goes by “Crutch,” is a brash, yet beloved Harlem shop owner whose world is turned upside down when his highbrow son (Fowler) and free-spirited daughter move back into the family home.

Fowler’s Jake Crutchfield is an Ivy League educated lawyer who forgoes a high-paying position at a swanky, white shoe law firm to provide low-cost legal aid in Harlem.

The Neighborhood star Cedric the Entertainer and Eric C. Rhone executive produce Crutch via A Bird and a Bear along with Smith, Aaron Kaplan for Kapital Entertainment; Wendi Trilling for TrillTV; and Morgan. The series is produced by CBS Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
