While he was a strong pick during the game’s beta and first month of release, the balance changes and shifts in the meta have forced him to take a step back in the meta in favor of other healers.

I would love to see Finn Jones return to the MCU as Danny Rand, who first appeared in Netflix's Iron Fist, but Marvel needs to make him a much stronger hero. Previously known for roles in Game of Thrones and The Sarah Jane Adventures, Finn Jones became known to Marvel fans as Danny Rand in Netflix's Iron Fist series, part of the Defenders Saga. Out of the six shows comprising the Defenders Saga, however, Iron Fist is widely regarded to be the weakest link, which makes me concerned for the Iron Fist's future in the MCU.

In early 2024, Netflix's Defenders Saga was confirmed to be canon to the MCU and integrated into the McU's official timeline on Disney+. This makes me think that Finn Jones' Danny Rand is now an official part of the MCU, though neither Marvel Studios nor Jones himself have revealed whether this is the case.

There is a lot of stuff in Baldur's Gate 3, from gold to gems to magic items, particularly in the game's busy third act. It takes place in the lower part of the titular city, Baldur's Gate, and gives players the option to explore many streets and shops as they finish their fight against the Absolute's forces. With so many interesting locations and trinkets on display, it can become tempting for even the most lawful of players to commit some light thievery.

Anime has become such a popular and evergreen storytelling medium because of its limitless opportunities and diverse genres. Shonen anime are some of the mediums most successful titles, many of which produce hundreds of episodes and run for the better part of the decade. Akira Toriyamas Dragon Ball remains an archetypal shonen triumph that modern anime continues to chase. Dragon Balls accomplishments are plentiful, and the original anime premiered on February 26, 1986, on Fuji TV, where it ran for 153 episodes, at which point Dragon Ball Z started to air on April 26, 1989.

Dragon Ball helped establish many shonen staples, yet itd be disingenuous to the demographic and genre to overlook the many anime that preceded it. Dragon Ball blazed trails for shonen anime during the 90s and 2000s, but there are still some incredible shonen titles from the 70s, 80s, and even earlier that still hold up and are as impressive and entertaining as Dragon Ball.

There is a slew of villains that Deadpool could bring in for his next outing, which is rumored to include Wolverine as well. However, there are few villains that could actually do any lasting damage to the Merc with a Mouth.

One of the most intriguing Marvel Animation titles is Eyes of Wakanda, a Black Panther spin-off with ties to the main MCU. The expectation is that it will be released this year, a surprise when we first learned of its existence long after Marvel Zombies and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. 

Now, The Cosmic Circus has shared some new details about the series, including the fact Axis Studios is involved. They've previously worked on the likes of Love, Death & Robots, Scrooge: A Christmas Carol, and Destiny 2, and the site believes Eyes of Wakanda will be fully CG animated. 

That's a departure from the likes of What If...? and X-Men '97 and the show is described as "very fast-paced, fluid, exhilarating, and very exciting."

Anthea Sylbert, an Oscar-nominated costume designer on Chinatown and Julia who dressed Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby among many other credits and also was a studio exec and an Emmy-winning producer, has died. She was 84.

The news came from filmmaker Sakus Lalus, who made the 2023 documentary Anthea Sylbert: My Life in 3 Acts. The film followed Sylbert as she penned her memoir on the Greek island of Skiathos. See a trailer for the doc below.

Sylbert was a costume designer on more than 20 films from the late 1960s to late ’70s including Carnal Knowledge, The Heartbreak Kid, Shampoo, The Fortune, King Kong, The Illustrated Man, The Last Tycoon and F.I.S.T. Later in her career, she also produced or exec produced such pics as Overboard, My Blue Heaven and Something to Talk About and won an Outstanding Made for Television Movie Emmy and a PGA Award for 1995’s Truman, starring Gary Sinise as the 33rd U.

Anthea Sylbert, an Oscar-nominated costume designer who worked on some of the signature films of the late 1960s and 1970s, including “Rosemary’s Baby,” “Carnal Knowledge,” “Chinatown,” “Shampoo,” “Julia” and “King Kong,” and a producer later in her career on a number of films starring Goldie Hawn, has died. She was 84.

Her death was confirmed by Robert Romanus, her stepson.

Sylbert, subject of a forthcoming documentary by Sakis Lalas titled “Anthea Sylbert: My Life in 3 Acts,” also served as an executive at United Artists and Warner Bros., at a time when there were few women in the C-suites of Hollywood. She also worked repeatedly with director Mike Nichols, both onscreen and onstage, and was Oscar-nominated for her costuming on period films “Chinatown” (1974) and “Julia” (1977).

Sylbert died Tuesday in Skiathos, Greece, director Sakis Lalas told The Hollywood Reporter. Lalas just finished a documentary about Sylbert titled, My Life in 3 Acts.

Sylbert partnered with two-time Oscar-winning production Richard Sylbert on eight films and with his twin brother, Paul Sylbert — her first husband and another Oscar-winning production designer — on another three.

Tony Lo Bianco, who played the key role of Sal Boca in Best Picture Oscar winner The French Connection and appeared in more than 100 films and TV shows during a 60-year screen career, died Tuesday of prostate cancer at his home in Maryland. He was 87.

A rep confirmed his death to Fox News today.

Lo Bianco got his start guesting on 1960s TV series including The Doctors, Get Smart! and N.Y.P.D. before landing a big-screen star turn in 1970’s The Honeymoon Killers. That led to his signature role as Salvatore “Sal” Buco in William Friedkin’s seminal New York crime drama The French Connection the following year. His character is at the center of a drug deal followed by NYPD Detective Jimmy “Popeye” Doyle (Gene Hackman). The film won five Oscars including Best Picture and Lead Actor for Hackman.

Tony Lo Bianco, the Brooklyn actor who oozed criminal charm in the gritty 1970s New York City dramas The French Connection and The Seven-Ups, has died. He was 87.

Lo Bianco died Tuesday night of prostate cancer at his horse farm in Poolesville, Maryland, his wife, Alyse, told The Hollywood Reporter.

Lo Bianco was also memorable as a smooth-talking con man with a lonely nurse (Shirley Stoler) for a girlfriend/accomplice in Leonard Kastle’s documentary-style The Honeymoon Killers (1970), which Francois Truffaut once said was his favorite American film.

In another cult classic, the horror thriller God Told Me To (1976), directed by Larry Cohen, Lo Bianco starred as a New York cop who investigates a series of bizarre murders orchestrated by the leader of a religious group (Richard Lynch).

According to trusted insider Daniel Richtman (via X), Marvel Studios will be taking fewer risks in the future and focusing on more guaranteed hits. This means that Eternals 2, which was reportedly secretly being worked on at Marvel, is now on hold as Disney CEO Bob Iger believes it's destined to flop. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, however, would still like to see the sequel get made. Ant-Man 4 and Captain Marvel 3 are also not expected to happen following the box office performances of their respective predecessors, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Marvels.

“Timing is everything,” the director told me the one time we met. I’d been enlisted to host a long Q&a with Jewison at the American Cinematheque — and I was more than a little intimidated.

From “The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming” in 1966 to “Other People’s Money” in 1991, Jewison had an astonishing quarter-century run behind the camera, directing movies that impacted the culture when they came out (none more than “In the Heat of the Night”), a great many of which are still watched today. Turns out, this legendary talent couldn’t have been sweeter.

Jewison liked to tell the story of how he met Bobby Kennedy before making the landmark Sidney Poitier picture. He and Kennedy crossed paths while on vacation skiing, where both of their kids wound up in the hospital.

Jewison had a long and varied directing and producing career that was peppered with accolades. His films "Moonstruck," "A Soldier's Story," "Fiddler on the Roof," "In the Heat of the Night," and "The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming" were nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards in 1987, 1984, 1971, 1967, and 1966 respectively, with "Heat of the Night" winning. Jewison also helmed dozens of other notable dramas and musicals besides, including "The Thomas Crown Affair", "Gaily, Gaily" (nominated for three Oscars), "Jesus Christ Superstar" (nominated for one Oscar), "...And Justice for All" (two), "Agnes of God" (three), and "The Hurricane" (one).

Norman Jewison, the multifaceted filmmaker who could direct a racial drama (In the Heat of the Night), stylish thriller (The Thomas Crown Affair), musical (Fiddler on the Roof) or romantic comedy (Moonstruck) with the best of them, has died. He was 97.

Jewison died Saturday at home — his family does not want to specify exactly where — publicist Jeff Sanderson announced.

A seven-time Oscar nominee, Jewison received the prestigious Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences in 1999.

Known for his ability to coax great performances out of his actors — 12 of his players were nominated for Oscars, while five of his features made the cut for best picture — the most distinguished film director in Canadian history often used conventional genre plots to take on social injustice.

News of the show comes ahead of the 50th anniversary of Hoffa’s disappearance, which occurred on July 30, 1975. In an interview with Collider, Bernthal described groups of people and professions who may, for one reason or another, be attracted to watching Frank Castle's brutal sense of justice.
