Enigma rosso (1978)

Trivia

Enigma rosso

Edit
Massimo Dallamano was going to direct this movie in order to complete his 'school girl in peril' trilogy but died in a car crash before production began.
Asked about the several nude scenes, director Alberto Negrin said, "I have no memory of editing cuts, like 'this can't be shown'. At the time the nude was very common in that type of cinema, because it was part of the public's interest, a bit morbid."
Of the 12 female students who are seen in the scenes where they play basketball and then strip naked in the locker room, only three (Carolin Ohrner ,Taida Urruzola and Silvia Aguilar) were professional actresses and are also present in the subsequent shower scene. The other nine girls were from the boarding school where the film was shot (Colegio San Diego y San Vicente de Paúl in Madrid).
The Wizard Video release (entitled "Trauma") credits Arthur Kennedy on the cover, even though he's nowhere in the movie.
Talking about the cast and the filming, director Alberto Negrin recalled, "The dam was in Madrid, everything was set in Spain. The college was a beautiful late 19th century palace in Madrid. The cast was the result of a co-production. There was Ivan Desny and Christine Kaufmann, for Germany; for Italy, Fabio Testi and for Spain all the setting, a lot of the crew, all the girls from the college."
