Robert Logan and George 'Buck' Flower would also star together in The Wilderness Family trilogy: La Liberté sauvage (1975), Colorado Story (1978) and Les aventures de la famille Robinson (1979). Heather Rattray would join them for the second and third films.
The Gallimimus Stampede in Jurassic Park (1993) is very similar to the buffalo stampede here. When Coop is running holding the hands of the children it is very similar to Grant running and holding the hands of those children.
