It appears from the image that Camila Rodriguez's Angela Del Toro has earned her stripes and will be taking up the mantle in the show's second season. Kim Kardashian Panics Over (Another) Lost Diamond at $600 Million Wedding
Image
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Kim Kardashian lost a massive diamond at a garishly expensive event.

Years ago, Kim famously lost a valuable earring while swimming in water. It led to Kourtney’s biggest meme.

Since then, life experience has taught her to wear less jewelry. With some exceptions.

One exception was a $600 million wedding. And that’s a lowball estimate of the cost of the event that cost Kim a sizable diamond.

In Loving Memory: Days of Our Lives Pays Tribute to The Late Drake Hogestyn
Image
At the end of the Tuesday, October 29 episode of Days of Our Lives, the show paid tribute to the late Drake Hogestyn.

In Memoriam

When the episode ended, a scene involving Chad (Billy Flynn) and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) cut to black. Then, an In Memoriam graphic saying “In Loving Memory” and a photo of Hogestyn appeared.

Hogestyn’s presence was felt throughout the episode because much of the conversation revolved around John Black. First, Steve (Stephen Nichols) returned from Paris with news for Marlena (Deidre Hall). He told her that the woman Chad married wasn’t Abigail after all. He then told her who she really was, that her name was Catherina, “Cat” for short.

In addition to coming clean with Chad, Cat also admitted that her namesake was her mother, Catherina Meleounis, Konstantin’s (John Kapelos) daughter. Naturally, this meant that Catherina had survived that fateful night decades earlier.

Screams for Taylor Swift, Confusion Over Johnny Depp, and More You Didn’t See on TV During the VMAs
Image
There was plenty of action on, around and above the MTV VMA stages at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Sunday night: Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance and not only took home the prize for Video of the Year (for “All Too Well”), she also announced her forthcoming new album, “Midnights”; Nicki Minaj took home the Video Vanguard award and delivered a performance that ranged from pink pop to torture-porn; and Latin had a bigger look than ever before, with eye-popping performances from Bad Bunny, J Balvin and Anitta, the latter of whom became the first Brazilian artist to win Best Latin Artist for her song “Envolver.”

Yet there was plenty of action off-camera as well. On the red carpet in the hours before the show, Jack Harlow arrived early, clad in a leather-ish dark grey suit (which would have been suffocatingly hot if the Tri-State area...

Porter died Sept. 25 at age 86 after a long battle with cancer. The character actress appeared in dozens of TV series and feature films, but was perhaps best known for her role as Myrtle in Superstore.

Porter most recently was seen in her recurring role as Cloud 9 employee Myrtle Vartanian in the May 16 Season 4 finale of Superstore. The fan favorite had recently been rehired as new manager Amy’s (America Ferrera) assistant after being laid off in Season 3, and then brought back as a customer-greeting hologram.

Since Season 1, Porter appeared in 35 episodes of the NBC comedy series, which is now in its fifth season. She had not filmed any Season 5 episodes before her death.
