Sexy Susan Sins Again

This is another "Sexy Susan" movie about the crazy adventures of a prostitute/madame named Susana in Napoleon-era Germany. It's in German, unfortunately, so I only could make out a word of dialogue here and there, and, to be honest, I completely lost track of the zany, madcap plot. It does SEEM to be a little more sophisticated than your typical European sex comedy, and might actually be pretty funny with English subtitles (I DON'T regret, however, not getting to see a horrid English-dubbed version).

The main star once again is Teri Tordai, who was in all these "Sexy Susan" but really nothing else. There are also the usual amount of naked frauleins on display, except in this case their perhaps better described as signoras (Femi Benussi, Daniela Giordano) or mademoiselles (Edwige Fenech). That might really be half the fun of these films: spotting the familiar faces (and bare torsos) of actresses who would go on to bigger, if not always better, 1970's Euro-exploitation films.

Some of the niche DVD companies have starting releasing some of the Italian period sexploitation films in recent years (like "Ubalda, All Naked and Warm" featuring Edwige Fenech, all naked and warm), and with subtitles rather than dubbing. I'd be interested in seeing the Italian "Decameron" knock-offs, or some of the films in this German series get the same treatment someday soon.
