Mel B is returning to the judges’ table for the landmark 20th season of America’s Got Talent, which begins May 27 on NBC. But if she’s in, who’s out?

The former Spice Girl will be sitting alongside Simon Cowell (his 10th season), Howie Mandel (his 16th season), and Sofia Vergara (her sixth season), which means Heidi Klum is stepping down … at least for now. Klum previously took a break in Season 14, but she returned the following year. It’s likely that Klum’s duties as the returning host of Project Runway are responsible for her missing this installment of AGT.

Terry Crews is also back as the host of America’s Got Talent for the seventh consecutive cycle.

Though one could argue that the Disney+ Ms. Marvel series did suffer a dip in quality as it went on, many fans considered Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan to be one of the more compelling new characters to be introduced to the MCU post Infinity Saga, and it sounds like Marvel Studios has major plans for young hero going forward.

Towards the end of The Marvels, Khan channels her inner Nick Fury when she recruits Hawkeye's Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) to the Young Avengers (whether that'll be the team's name remains to be seen), possibly suggesting that Ms. Marvel will find herself in a leadership position once full roster is assembled.

While speaking to THR about the third season of What If...?, Head of Marvel Television and Animation Brad Winderbaum indicated that Khan is going to be integral to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The fourth episode of “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League” aired Monday, January 22 on NBC with the fourth set of 10 all-star acts, fan-favorites and former winners returning to the big stage to compete alongside the judges. At the end of the episode, six contestants advanced to the next round: Aidan Bryant, Anna DeGuzman, Darci Lynne, Ghetto Kids and Musa Motha via the audience vote, and Sainted thanks to Simon Cowell‘s Golden Buzzer. "I don't know what the rules are for scenes that were cut, like, am I still supposed to keep those secrets?" she expressed. "I'll say, whatever names you can guess are probably right. Like, there's not that many young people in the MCU right now." She revealed she was also open to fantasy team-ups, though, and would like to join forces with superheroes outside the obvious picks if she had her way. NBC has announced that last year’s winner of “America’s Got Talent,” The Mayyas, will return to the reality TV show that made them a household name during Wednesday night’s Season 18 finale. The Lebanese dance group will deliver a special performance on the live show, and so will all of these Hollywood A-listers: chef and TV personality Cat Cora, award-winning songwriter Diane Warren, pop and R&b icon Jason Derulo, award-winning musician Jon Batiste and multi-platinum-selling band Thirty Seconds to Mars.

NBC’s 2023 fall lineup will include two new dramas and one new comedy, as well as new seasons of The Voice, Night Court, and Quantum Leap. The three Chicago shows – Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. – return to their Wednesday night time slots, and Law & Order and Law & Order: Svu are back with new seasons on Thursday nights.

The network hasn’t made any decisions on the status of American Auto, Grand Crew, and Young Rock, but did confirm new unscripted series Deal or No Deal Island and Untitled America’s Got Talent Series will premiere midseason. And Oscar winner Tom Hanks narrates the 10-part The Americas event series launching next spring.

New seasons of Law & Order: Organized Crime, La Brea, Magnum P.I., and Lopez vs. Lopez will join the primetime lineup midseason.

As we near the conclusion of the first phase of the “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” competition, there’s one question on our mind: What do the superfans have against singers? Out of the 40 acts to perform in the first round so far, a quarter of them can be considered vocal talents, but only chorale group Detroit Youth Choir has advanced, and that was thanks to a Golden Buzzer from Terry Crews. “America’s Got Talent: Extreme” has paused production after an on-set accident, Variety has confirmed.

The accident occurred during a show rehearsal Thursday night and involved escape artist Jonathan Goodwin. According to TMZ, Goodwin was performing a stunt involving escaping from a straitjacket while suspended mid-air between two cars. But the feat went terribly wrong, and the cars reportedly crashed together with Goodwin caught in between. However, these details have not been confirmed.

A spokesperson for “America’s Got Talent” said in a statement to Variety that Goodwin is receiving care at a hospital and was still responsive after the accident.

“During a rehearsal last evening for ‘America’s Got Talent: Extreme,’ an accident occurred in which escape artist Jonathan Goodwin was injured while performing his act,” the spokesperson said in their statement. “He was responsive and was immediately taken to the hospital where he is continuing to receive medical care.

There have been two versions of The Champions in the main Marvel universe. The first was The Champions of Los Angeles, which was a team formed by X-Men founder Angel. However, the team now known as The Champions is very different. This is a team that replaced the Young Avengers as the premiere teenage superhero team in Marvel Comics.

The Champions have been in the center of several Marvel storylines, founded when three founding members quit the Avengers because they wanted to fight for the little people. They caused the Outlawed storyline when the government banned underaged heroes, and feature several members that are coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Stuart Damon, who was best known for his role on “General Hospital,” has died. He was 84.

“He’d been struggling with renal failure for the last several years,” ABC7 reporter George Pennacchio confirmed in a Facebook post. “He was a kind, loving and friendly man. It’s something Christopher heard his entire life. It was my honor to know Stuart Damon. May this Prince R.I.P.”

News of his passing was first reported by ABC7 Entertainment reporter George Pennacchio and confirmed in a tweet from General Hospital EP Frank Valentini, who sent his condolences to Damon’s family before writing, “Stuart was an absolute legend of our industry and he’ll be sorely missed.”

The actor’s son, Christopher Damon, told Pennacchio that the actor had been dealing with renal failure for the past few years. Of his father’s five-decade run on General Hospital, the younger Damon said: “It was his favorite place to be.

“General Hospital” star Stuart Damon has died at the age of 84, TheWrap has confirmed.

According to ABC7’s George Pennacchio, who first reported the news of Damon’s death, the actor had been “struggling with renal failure.”

Damon was known for starring on the ABC daytime soap as Dr. Alan Quartermaine for more than three decades, winning a best supporting actor trophy at the 1999 Daytime Emmys for his performance. Damon was a regular on the show from 1977 to 2007, when the character was killed off.

He reappeared on “General Hospital” several times throughout the subsequent years, most recently in 2013, and also appeared on the spinoff series “Port Charles.”

Damon’s other TV credits include “As the World Turns,” “Days of Our Lives” and the British supernatural detective series “The Champions.”

“America’s Got Talent” continued the final phase of its unconventional season 15 on Tuesday with the third live performance show and Wednesday with the results of that show based on audience votes. In this quarter-finals round, which consists of four episodes, 11 acts per night will perform for the judges. On the August 25 live show, judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara were alone on the panel while Simon Cowell remained absent while recovering from surgery.

NBC’s long-running reality TV show “America’s Got Talent” is going through a major facelift for its upcoming 15th season, as Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara have replaced Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough.
