Mel B is returning to the judges’ table for the landmark 20th season of America’s Got Talent, which begins May 27 on NBC. But if she’s in, who’s out?
The former Spice Girl will be sitting alongside Simon Cowell (his 10th season), Howie Mandel (his 16th season), and Sofia Vergara (her sixth season), which means Heidi Klum is stepping down … at least for now. Klum previously took a break in Season 14, but she returned the following year. It’s likely that Klum’s duties as the returning host of Project Runway are responsible for her missing this installment of AGT.
Terry Crews is also back as the host of America’s Got Talent for the seventh consecutive cycle.
“It is absolutely brilliant to be able to announce this year as our 20th season,” said Cowell, who also serves as executive producer. “Over the years, we have seen some amazing acts...

Though one could argue that the Disney+ Ms. Marvel series did suffer a dip in quality as it went on, many fans considered Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan to be one of the more compelling new characters to be introduced to the MCU post Infinity Saga, and it sounds like Marvel Studios has major plans for young hero going forward.
Towards the end of The Marvels, Khan channels her inner Nick Fury when she recruits Hawkeye's Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) to the Young Avengers (whether that'll be the team's name remains to be seen), possibly suggesting that Ms. Marvel will find herself in a leadership position once full roster is assembled.
While speaking to THR about the third season of What If...?, Head of Marvel Television and Animation Brad Winderbaum indicated that Khan is going to be integral to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"I love Iman.

It looks like Marvel’s plans for a Young Avengers project may be changing into a bold new series!
For a while, it’s been clear the MCU is making plans for what amounts to a Young Avengers movie. The big push was one of the stingers for The Marvels, where Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) met Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) and proposed they put together a team, which included reaching out to Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton).
The MCU also has Ironheart and Agatha All Along confirm the identity of the Scarlet Witch’s son, Wiccan, who’s looking for his missing twin brother. That all appears as the lead-in for a Young Avengers movie.
However, noted Marvel insider Daniel Richtman (whose past scoops on the franchise have been proven true) is reporting a shift for the project. Rather than a Young Avengers movie, it appears Marvel wants to make it...

The 1960s were an incredible time for spy TV shows and were the inception point for several popular series. As many of the best spy shows from this era have been revived or rebooted on the big screen, its worth revisiting the source material and seeing just how many astounding stories of covert espionage or undercover government work there are to discover. From trailblazing television shows that have left a lasting impact on the genre to cult favorites that have stood the test of time, many 1960s series are worth modern viewers' attention.
While many of the best spy movies from the 1960s are well-known to modern viewers, the same cannot be said about TV shows from this time. This does a real disservice to just how engaging and entertaining the best spy shows from this period were, and fans of espionage series would be doing themselves a favor if...

Since 1997, Days of Our Lives’ resident mad scientist, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf, has been on hand to resurrect the dead, brainwash Salemites, and more. Originally played by William Utay, the part was later recast in 2022 with Richard Wharton as the devious doctor. If either iteration of the demented scientist seems familiar, that’s probably because he resembles a character actor who starred in several horror classics.
A Puppet Master Like Dr. Rolf
Guy Rolfe was a British actor who appeared in films since 1937 and starred in several classics, including Ivanhoe (1952), The Barbarians (1960), and King of Kings (1961). But it was his role as the title character in William Castle’s Mr. Sardonicus in 1961 that made horror fans take notice. In the film, he played a man whose face froze in a creepy and disturbing grin.

To viewers of MTV’s The Challenge, it shouldn’t have been a big surprise that Chris “Ct” Tamburello won the second season of the U.S. incarnation of Traitors alongside his longtime Challenge co-competitor Trishelle Cannatella. He’s appeared on 19 seasons of The Challenge and won $1,365,000 — more than any other contestant in the history of the show. But things looked bleak for the Challenge crew when Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio was the first Traitors contestant eliminated this season on The Traitors. “Bananas being eliminated so early doesn’t sit well with me,...

Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani would have Kamala Khan fighting alongside Miles Morales, Nova, and Tom Holland's Spider-Man if she was allowed to expand her ideal MCU crossover team-ups.
Iman Vellani almost teased the full lineup of Young Avengers short of dropping new names in an interview with The Direct. "I don't know what the rules are for scenes that were cut, like, am I still supposed to keep those secrets?" she expressed. "I'll say, whatever names you can guess are probably right. Like, there's not that many young people in the MCU right now." She revealed she was also open to fantasy team-ups, though, and would like to join forces with superheroes outside the obvious picks if she had her way. Since anything can happen in the Multiverse, a crossover movie with Tom Holland's Spider-Man doesn't seem so far-fetched.

As we near the conclusion of the first phase of the “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” competition, there’s one question on our mind: What do the superfans have against singers? Out of the 40 acts to perform in the first round so far, a quarter of them can be considered vocal talents, but only chorale group Detroit Youth Choir has advanced, and that was thanks to a Golden Buzzer from Terry Crews. The nine other singers failed to earn enough votes from the superfans and were eliminated, but why?
Among the singing acts eliminated so far are former Golden Buzzer acts Cristina Rae and Sara James as well as champions of “Canada’s Got Talent” and “Dominica’s Got Talent” Jeanick Fournier and Keren Montero. Both Jeanick and Keren placed within the top three with the superfans on their respective episodes, as did Caly Bevier and Ndlovu Youth Choir. None of...

Riri Williams arrives in the MCU in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Her story carries over into the upcoming Ironheart Disney+ streaming series and probably beyond. Marvel Comics fans know Ironheart joined the revamped Champions team in 2016 alongside other iconic young superheroes in a likely preview of things to come in live-action.
Ironheart joined forces with new rising stars like Miles Morales and Ms. Marvel but The Champions' legacy goes back much further. Most superhero teams in Marvel Comics come together around an organizing principle, like the X-Men or Fantastic Four. The original Champions mostly include characters who had been displaced from other books at the time. This includes Angel and Iceman, among the most powerful X-Men on the original team,...

Unsurprisingly, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is among the most anticipated movies in recent memory. Not only is it a sequel to one of the most culture-defining films of the past ten years, but questions remain about who exactly will play the title hero. But one of the more surprising points of interest involve a new addition to the MCU, Riri Williams aka Ironheart.
Williams first appeared in 2016’s Invincible Iron Man #7, written by Brian Michael Bendis and drawn by Mike Deodato, as a young genius inspired by Tony Stark. In the issues that followed, Williams reverse-engineered Stark’s Iron Man armor to deal with a threat, eventually earning her own suit. In her solo series and in the teen team-up book The Champions, Williams has continued to evolve the armor into something more sleek and personal, less beholden to Stark’s aesthetic.

The accident occurred during a show rehearsal Thursday night and involved escape artist Jonathan Goodwin. According to TMZ, Goodwin was performing a stunt involving escaping from a straitjacket while suspended mid-air between two cars. But the feat went terribly wrong, and the cars reportedly crashed together with Goodwin caught in between. However, these details have not been confirmed.
A spokesperson for “America’s Got Talent” said in a statement to Variety that Goodwin is receiving care at a hospital and was still responsive after the accident.
“During a rehearsal last evening for ‘America’s Got Talent: Extreme,’ an accident occurred in which escape artist Jonathan Goodwin was injured while performing his act,” the spokesperson said in their statement. “He was responsive and was immediately taken to the hospital where he is continuing to receive medical care.

There have been two versions of The Champions in the main Marvel universe. The first was The Champions of Los Angeles, which was a team formed by X-Men founder Angel. However, the team now known as The Champions is very different. This is a team that replaced the Young Avengers as the premiere teenage superhero team in Marvel Comics.

“America’s Got Talent” continued the final phase of its unconventional season 15 on Tuesday with the third live performance show and Wednesday with the results of that show based on audience votes. In this quarter-finals round, which consists of four episodes, 11 acts per night will perform for the judges. On the August 25 live show, judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara were alone on the panel while Simon Cowell remained absent while recovering from surgery.
Of Tuesday’s 11 acts that performed, only five of them will advance to the next round, the semi-finals. Those 11 acts were: Simon’s Golden Buzzer act dance group W.A.F.F.L.E. NBC’s long-running reality TV show “America’s Got Talent” is going through a major facelift for its upcoming 15th season, as Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara have replaced Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough. Klum of course is an old pro at judging “Agt” since she appeared in Seasons 8-13, plus spinoff series “Agt: The Champions.” (See the list of judges through the years.) However, Vergara is completely new to the game, having never judged a competition program before. “I think she’s gonna be really direct and sweet at the same time,” Klum predicts in NBC’s new teaser trailer (watch above).
