Luv, est-ce l'amour?

Edit
Harrison Ford makes a brief appearance as the driver who punches Harry after Ellen backs into his car.
The amusement park where Harry and Ellen go on a ride was called The Pike, and was located next to the ocean in Long Beach California. The large roller coaster seen at the park was The Cyclone Racer. The Pike dated to the early 20th century, and was extremely popular in Its heyday, but it fell into disrepair following the end of World War II, when it couldn't compete with classier new amusement parks such as Disneyland, It became a rundown eyesore and was eventually torn down in 1979.
Eli Wallach was offered the role of Harry Berlin after he had originated the role of Milt Manville on Broadway, playing opposite his wife, Anne Jackson, and Alan Arkin.
The original Broadway production of "Luv" by Murray Schisgal opened at the Booth Theater in New York on 11/11/64, ran for 901 performances and was nominated for the 1965 Tony Award for the Best Play.
Actor Eli Wallach was first offered Harry Berlin.
