Anouk Aimée and Jean-Louis Trintignant in Un homme et une femme (1966)

Trivia

Un homme et une femme

Edit
The black and white part was not intended for artistic purpose but due to a lack of money. Lelouch could not afford having all the film developed in color.
Claude Lelouch shot this movie with a team of seven people only.
Claude Lelouch was reportedly in love with Anouk Aimée during the shooting of A Man and a Woman (1966), but was unsuccessful in winning her heart, since she was already romantically involved with the composer Pierre Barouh (who had written a song for the film), whom she'd later marry.
Features Anouk Aimée's only Oscar nominated performance.
Jean-Louis Trintignant didn't feel much at ease working with Anouk Aimée, stating that he found her behaviour aloof and that he vastly preferred spending time with the child actors.
