Singer Cassie Ventura is growing her family! The “Me & U” singer announced that she and her husband Alex Fine are expecting their third baby together. The singer shared the news with images from a family photoshoot.

In the announcement images, Cassie wore an open button front shirt with just a bra underneath to show off her growing baby bump. Exclusive: HanWay Films has expanded its classics library after being appointed to represent The Cohen Film Collection.

The library of Cohen Media Group’s founder, Charles S. Cohen, comprises more than one hundred restored classic titles spanning from the silent era to the present day, including The Buster Keaton Collection and The Merchant Ivory Collection.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed and Cohen Media Group is the owner of HanWay, having acquired the company in 2022.

Late last year Charles Cohen’s media group hit choppy waters when the company was forced to sell multiple assets including British arthouse exhibitor and distributor Curzon to Fortress Investment Group. The company was acquired in a foreclosure auction involving multiple Cohen assets, including the Landmark cinema chain. Fortress had lent Cohen $534M but sued him last year for default. Cohen acquired Curzon in late 2019 amid a buying spree by the U.S. real estate developer.

Pamela Blair, an actress and dancer best known for her roles in the original Broadway cast of “A Chorus Line” and in soap opera “All My Children,” has died. She was 73 years old.

Blair died Sunday in her home in Phoenix, per media reports. Her passing came after a “long battle” with an unnamed illness, her representative Dani Green said.

Blair, who made her major stage debut in 1968’s “Promises, Promises” and later starred in productions as varied as “Sugar and Seesaw,” “Of Mice and Men,” “King of Hearts,” “The Nerd” and “A Few Good Men” in addition to “A Chorus Line,” was celebrated online Monday and Tuesday by past costars and collaborators.

Pamela Blair, who originated the role of the surgically enhanced Valerie Clark in the Broadway smash A Chorus Line, died Sunday at her home in Phoenix, Arizona, following a lengthy illness. She was 73.

Her death was reported by friends on social media, including her A Chorus Line co-star Baayork Lee. “I am very sad to say my Sagittarian sister Pam Blair has gone to play with her [A Chorus Line] colleagues among the clouds,” wrote Lee in a Facebook post. Sharing a Dec. 5 birthday, the two actors “always wrote to one another no matter where we were on that day,” Lee said, recalling how Blair ” brought the house down every night” with the showstopping performance of “Dance: Ten, Looks: Three.”

Not every TV and film production will stop amid dual strikes by SAG-AFTRA and the Writers Guild of America. A host of projects stopped work after writers went on strike against media companies for better pay, streaming data transparency and protections against artificial intelligence (among other issues), and many more have paused since actors walked out on July 14.

There are exceptions, however. SAG-AFTRA’s strike rules allow for work on productions covered under different agreements, and the union can grant waivers or sign interim agreements with independent productions. In 2022, Kim Petras faced something every artist dreads: a series of leaks that left her album in jeopardy. "I'm devastated idk how all of this happened and I just wanna quit," Petras tweeted at the time, Billboard reported. Nearly a year later, "Feed the Beast" is here. Petras's first major-label album was released on June 23. That same week, she announced a 34-date world tour to promote the album, starting this fall.

"It's really like three albums combined," Petras told Popsugar in a June interview while discussing her partnership with the Motorola Razr+. "Someone leaked [my previous album], so that was annoying." From the ashes came inspiration, though. Petras's A&r representative helped her move through the "annoying" situation, she recounted, advising her, "'You gotta go feed the beast and make more music. Do what you do best.' And that's exactly what I did."

It has taken Kim Petras 15 years to get a debut album out. In the interim, the German singer —songwriter’s steady rise has made her one to watch among pop artists: Her “Era 1” singles, released from 2017 to 2019, were a cool homage to fizzy 2000s bubblegum, and her pair of Halloween-themed mixtapes were edgy, spooky fun. Earlier this year, Petras became the first trans artist to have a Number One hit, with her Sam Smith collaboration “Unholy.”

But the journey to Feed the Beast hasn’t been all Champagne and glitter.

Petras announced the release on social media with a noir photo of a medieval-looking sword propped up against a large stone: “The story begins,” she wrote along with the post. Although the German singer has shared one full-length mixtape and a couple of compilation albums, this will mark her first-ever proper LP.

“Everything I drop is a banger,” Kim Petras declares on “Uhoh,” a filter house-influenced track from her long-awaited debut studio album, Feed the Beast. And, for the most part, she delivers on that promise. From the verse to the pre-chorus to the instrumental drop and chopped-up vocal bridge, the song—which was produced by Ian Kirkpatrick, the knob-twirler behind Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now”—is stacked with hooks.

Much of the rest of Feed the Beast follows suit, including the Dr. Luke-helmed “Revelations,” which channels ’80s post-disco, complete with squelchy electric guitar solo, and the breezy “Coconuts,” a cheeky, pun-filled ode to Petras’s “margari-tatas.” Elsewhere, lead single “Alone” is built around a sample of Alice Deejay’s infectious “Better Off Alone,” though it leans too heavily on that late-’90s club hit’s synth hook to make much of a distinct impression of its own.

Three years before Richard Attenborough’s movie version of Oh! What a Lovely War there was this anti-war satire, set in 1918, now on rerelease – Philippe de Broca’s King of Hearts. Regarded by many, including its director, as a classic, it nonetheless flopped hard at the box office. Watching it again now, I find myself not quite able to hail it as a masterpiece, more of an engaging and contrived oddity – like a U-certificate Marat/Sade – exoticised by the spectacle of non-English-speaking actors dubbed in order to play Scottish soldiers.

Great films aren’t always recognized in their time. Frank Capra‘s “It’s A Wonderful Life” was a box office flop when it was first released, only to be rediscovered and reclaimed years later as a holiday classic. Philippe de Broca’s off-the-wall anti-war comedy “King Of Hearts” followed a similar path. First released in 1966 in France, and the following year in the U.S., the picture didn’t gain much traction on either side of the pond.

Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Srivastava and Pandit family. It’s a typically good variety of titles that will draw the late night movie buff crowd and a couple of retro surprises are to be found. The Midnight Movie experience has always catered to a college-age crowd and that’s the way it should be. When I was that age, in the early ’80s, midnight standards included A Clockwork Orange (1971), The Graduate (1967), Night Of The Living Dead (1968), King Of Hearts (1966), and Harold And Maude (1971). Those last two haven’t shown in many years. King Of Hearts especially seems to have fallen off the cult movie radar , so imagine my surprise when I saw that the Tivoli had Harold And Maude as part of their new line-up. Will Staples, who was hired in May to write Mission: Impossible 5 for Paramount, has been brought on by Warner Bros. to write their Untitled Animal Trafficking Project, which has Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Tom Hardy attached to produce.

We first reported on the project back in August 2012, when it was announced that the actors will all produce and possibly star in this drama, which has been compared in scope to Traffic. The story will dissect the animal trafficking industry where animals are killed for body parts used in several different illicit trades, which bring a hefty price on the black market in China. The plot is set all over the world, spanning from shark poaching in the ocean to big game in exotic jungles, with characters such as corporate executives, a lowly poacher, and several others all involved in the trade.

Greetings from the apocalypse! The trouble with Tribbles is not how cute they are but how much they multiply, or in the case of "Star Trek Into Darkness," the silly plot point for which they cameo. Abrams movie has gone before … coherence.

The "Once Upon a Time" executive producers recently told TV Guide that they're hoping to find a part on the show for another "Lost" alum - Jorge Garcia, the awesome Hurley on the former hit drama.

The TV Guide writers float the idea of Stromboli, the villainous Pinocchio character, as a possible role for Garcia, which isn't bad at all. But it got us thinking - who else might Garcia play?

In the traditional, well-known fairy tales, there aren't a ton of male characters left. The one that springs to mind first for us is The Beast of "Beauty and the Beast." Plus then we'd get some awesome make-up.

"America's Next Top Model" is doing a "College Edition" for its 19th cycle, the CW announced Thursday (Feb. 23) via press release. Tyra Banks, having just graduated from Harvard Business School, was inspired to look for potential models among women who are also furthering their education.
