Stanley Tucci is opening up about the time after starring in The Devil Wears Prada, the 2006 David Frankel film in which he co-starred with Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Anne Hathaway.

In a new interview, Tucci revealed he had difficulty booking another job after the film despite the box office success it had.

“After The Devil Wears Prada, I couldn’t get a job, and I didn’t quite understand that, but that’s just the way it was,” Tucci told Vanity Fair. “So I went and did stuff that I didn’t necessarily want to do, but I did it.”

Tucci noted that in his career he has “always gone through these fluctuations, and sometimes it’s just the business. Sometimes it was personal reasons why you can’t work.”

Chalk up another record for this years hit Deadpool & Wolverine as Variety reports the movie has just overtaken Barbie (2023) as the 12th biggest film in U.S. box office history. The Marvel Cinematic Universe movie added another $679,000 to its earnings after Disney brought the movie back to about 1,500 theaters recently.

Deadpool & Wolverine, with that additional box office take, has earned $636.3 million in North America since its July 2024, premiere. It just edged out Barbie, which earned $636.238 million in North America, to take the 12th spot.

If you missed out on the Guardian Games Skimmer, you'll be thrilled to hear about the Xrfboard Skimmer that's just been introduced in Destiny 2's Season 25, Revenant. The first Skimmer was only earnable during the Guardians Games event in March of this year, and many players missed out on their chance to earn this limited-time vehicle. Now, even players that don't feel like shelling out money for Silver can ride the space waves on the game's brand-new Skimmer, the Xrfboard.

Skimmers are a new class of vehicle that take the same loadout slot as your Sparrow; they provide limited gameplay enhancements, but essentially allow Guardians to quickly traverse their environments without the need for shatter-skating or well-skating techniques. While there's nothing wrong with Sparrows, Skimmers provide a fresh take on the traditional Destiny format for vehicles. Players itching for something new can get the Xrfboard now, as soon as its mysterious vendor makes his appearance.

Josh Brolin's Cable was notably absent from Deadpool & Wolverine but I'm glad Marvel decided not to bring him back. Deadpool & Wolverine had plenty of cameos from the Fox universe that gave audiences exactly what they wanted. Some were returning characters, like Chris Evans' Human Torch, Jennifer Garner's Elektra, and Wesley Snipes' Blade. Others were characters who had never been fully realized, like Channing Tatum's Gambit.

There were also appearances by characters from the Deadpool franchise, like Cyclops and Vanessa, but their roles were brief. One fan-favorite character missing from the film was Josh Brolin's Cable from Deadpool 2. In an interview with Indiewire, Deadpool & Wolverine co-writer Paul Wernick said Cable "absolutely was considered" for the film, but ultimately didn't make the cut. While it would have been nice to see Brolin reprise his X-Men role, Deadpool & Wolverine made the right decision to leave him out.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the biggest superhero hit released in the last few years. The movie has seen tremendous success both at the box office and with the audiences, somewhat ending the dry spell that the MCU was caught in.

Much of that success can be owed to cameos of Marvel legacy characters. We’ve seen the likes of Wesley Snipes return as Blade, Garner return as Elektra, and even some favorite fan castings like Channing Tatum’s Gambit.

Fans were however expecting more important characters to reprise their roles from the former Fox’s X-Men franchise, and among them was Jean Grey, played by Sophie Turner and Famke Janssen. Ultimately it was rumored that Janssen would appear, but fans were left short regarding both actresses.

Famke Janssen’s portrayal of Jean Grey in the earlier ‘X-Men’ films set a high bar, and many fans had strong attachments to that version.

Deadpool & Wolverine will soon be coming home, and it's bringing a whole host of DVD extras along for the ride. While MCU fans will be happy about more Deadpool & Wolverine content no matter which form it comes in, it's the blooper reel that has audiences most excited. Ryan Reynolds previously teased the film's blooper reel, saying that there will be countless alt takes to the movie's best jokes in the compilation. Thanks to Entertainment Tonight, fans have their first look at the incredibly explicit outtakes, and it more than lives up to the hype.

The teaser for the gag reel pulls no punches, opening with the scene where Deadpool (Reynolds) introduces himself to Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) in the Tva. The version in the final cut of the movie is already ripe with innuendo, but the version in the gag reel blows right past that, toeing the line...

The MCU has developed a problem, and the latest Mephisto tease in Agatha All Along is a prime example. Agatha All Along is the titular witch's solo series, detailing her journey down the Witches' Road with a coven pulled together in a desperate bid to reacquire the powers stripped from her by Wanda Maximoff in WandaVision. The series is Marvel's latest foray into horror as the Witches' Road presents a series of trials replete with supernatural events. So far, this has been confined to the spooky imagery surrounding witches, embodied in particular by the Salem Seven.

Agatha All Along episode 3 revealed the first trial faced by the coven in their journey down the Witches' Road. This trial involved the practice of alchemy as the coven, led by Jennifer Kale, brewed an antidote for the "Alewife's Revenge" poison. It also delved further into the covens' backstories, with Agatha's being of particular importance.

Just when everybody thought the MCU was done, Deadpool & Wolverine shut the haters in the best possible way. With its R-rated gore and terrific cameos, the 2024 multiversal adventure raised a storm at the box office. However, the records are not the only thing that are shattered by the film, it also shattered the MCU with a harsh roast in the latest-released deleted scene.

The Deadpool & Wolverine star said they were “absoooolutely mad” that their supervillain character Cassandra Nova killed Chris Evans‘ Human Torch during a surprise cameo after he last played the Marvel superhero in the 2005 and ’07 Fantastic Four movies.

Marvel Studios held a special Deadpool & Wolverine screening at Comic-Con yesterday evening and spoiled the movie's biggest cameos by bringing Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, Chris Evans, and Wesley Snipes out on stage.

According to trusted scooper CanWeGetSomeToast on X, the Tva's Minutemen -- soldiers who are sent to locate and detain people who create a nexus event in the Sacred Timeline -- will appear in Deadpool 3. The scooper revealed the cameos after Loki executive producer Kevin Wright teased that the Tva could pop up in other MCU titles beyond the Disney+ series. At the time of writing, it is unknown if the Minutemen that appear in Deadpool 3 will be recognizable faces that have already been introduced in Loki or entirely new characters.

In the first photos from the event, Anya can be seen standing on a balcony in a long veil and a custom Dior gown decked out with floral embellishments and a bird.

Neill Blomkamp is finally getting back behind the camera for a new feature and this time, he's making a horror movie. The District 9 filmmaker has lined up his next project, which is titled Inferno and has Taylor Kitsch attached to star. Production is expected to get underway in early 2020.

According to a new report, Agc Studios has stepped in to back Inferno. It was revealed by Neill Blomkamp back in August that he was no longer set to direct RoboCop Returns, the planned sequel to Paul Verhoeven's 1987 sci-fi classic. Instead, Blomkamp said he was moving onto a horror movie. Though, at the time, no details were revealed. Blomkamp had this to say about the project in a statement.

"I am very excited to be getting behind the camera and making Inferno with Agc. The film is filled with themes and concepts that I find deeply fascinating, I feel lucky to be shooting it.

Sargent also won WGA Awards for all three of those films and received the guild’s career honor, the Laurel Award for Screenwriting Achievement, in 1991.

Sargent penned more than two dozen feature screenplays from the 1960s into the 2010s, most recently The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), Spider-Man 3 (2007) and Spider-Man 2 (2004). His feature credits also include What About Bob? (1991), Other People’s Money (1991) and Unfaithful (2002).

He began his screenwriting career in television, penning episodes of such 1960s drama series Ben Casey, Route 66, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and Run for Your Life. He also wrote episodes of ABC’s short-lived Paper Moon spinoff series in which Jodie Foster played the role that won Tatum O’Neal a Supporting Actress Oscar.
