Fox 2025 Midseason Premiere Dates Announced

Fox today announced its 2025 midseason premiere dates and is getting pumped up for its February “Fox’s Super Week,” capturing the ongoing excitement ahead of Fox Sports’ presentation of Super Bowl Lix.

The midseason schedule on Fox starts Thursday, Jan. 2, with the series premiere of the all-new Denis Leary workplace comedy, Going Dutch (9:30-10:00 p.m. Et/Pt), preceded by the Season Three premiere of Joel McHale’s hit series, Animal Control (9:00-9:30 Pm Et/Pt), together building a new Thursday night comedy block on Fox. The night also includes the return of Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen (8:00-9:00 Pm Et/Pt).

Fox Shakes Up Post-Super Bowl Slot: ‘The Floor’ Replaces ‘Rescue: Hi-Surf’

Fox has announced an unexpected schedule change for its 2024-2025 slate, affecting its most high-stakes evening, Sunday, February 9, 2025, the night of Super Bowl Lix. Previously, the coveted post-game slot went to the new series Rescue: Hi-Surf, hoping to tide in new viewers with a special episode. Now, Rob Lowe’s game show The Floor is rushing the field—or floor—after the big game. The sudden switch was announced via press release on Monday (November 18). ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’, ‘Animal Control’, ‘Doc’, More Get Midseason Premiere Dates At Fox

Fox has announced its midseason schedule, which kicks off on Jan. 2 with a new Thursday night comedy block.

Following an 8 pm lead-in with Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, Joel McHale’s hit comedy Animal Control launches its third season at 9 pm, following Denis Leary workplace comedy Going Dutch at 9:30 pm.

Gordon Ramsay’s Season 4 premiere of Next Level Chef will take over the 8 pm Hell’s Kitchen slot on Thursday, Feb. 13 followed by Animal Control and Going Dutch.

The series debut of Fox’s new medical drama Doc is set for Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 9 pm. It stars Molly Parker (House of Cards) as the hard-charging, brilliant Chief of Internal Medicine Dr. Amy Larsen, who suffers a brain injury that erases the last eight years of her memory. Doc’s lead-in, Kitchen Nightmares: Road to Super Bowl Lix airs at 8 pm with episodes leading up to The Big Game set in New Orleans.

When the Main Event was relaunched last year, reports were that Ion Television , specifically said they didn’t want it to become another Superstars. Apparently one year later, that plan has gone we have to wonder if the Wednesday night program will go the way of the dodo? Remember when they would build matches on Main Event with video packages having one featured contest? Now, it just seems like another show.
