Fox has announced an unexpected schedule change for its 2024-2025 slate, affecting its most high-stakes evening, Sunday, February 9, 2025, the night of Super Bowl Lix. *Updated* Available this August from Dead Sky Publishing, Permadeath has exactly the kind of stories I love and I can't wait to read more after checking out this exclusive preview! With less than 48 hrs to order from Diamond, we have a further look into Permadeath via a new trailer for the upcoming comic book.
"Permadeath is your one shot at two tales of terror written by Jonathan Chance (Cover the Dead With Lime)! Set aside the playing cards and the poker chips, in this retirement home “The Big Game” is astral projection. The buy-in is high and could cost you your life! Art by Rafael Lanhellas.
Then, join artist Dell Barras in “Scattershot,” where the lines between video games and righteous quests blur as life and limb are nothing compared to glorious victory!"

When the Main Event was relaunched last year, reports were that Ion Television , specifically said they didn’t want it to become another Superstars. Apparently one year later, that plan has gone we have to wonder if the Wednesday night program will go the way of the dodo? Remember when they would build matches on Main Event with video packages having one featured contest? Now, it just seems like another show. If you need any illustration that this happened, check out this week’s episode from Columbus, Ohio.
We begin the night with Josh Matthews and Alex Riley at the announce desk. Riley’s arm is in a sling apparently after having shoulder surgery. I guess the Miz isn’t coming back anytime soon.
The action begins with a three on two handicap match with Tons of Funk versus 3Mb. The match is nothing really special. Although seeing Brodus Clay...
