By the time of the series' final season, Kate Jackson was receiving the most fan mail of all cast members.
Sam Melville, who played police officer and husband Mike Danko, to Kate Jackson's wife and nurse Jill Danko on this show, later played ex-husband Joe King to Jackson's title character Mrs. Amanda King on "Les deux font la paire (1983)."
Kate Jackson and Gerald S. O'Laughlin appeared in all episodes other than the pilot, each taking over from a different actor in the roles of Jill Danko & Sgt./Lt. Ryker respectively.

The Police Academy used in the opening credits is the same Police Academy in the opening credits of Charlie's Angels and the same bus entering the gates.
