Shooting at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Sepulveda CA was suspended after the San Fernando earthquake hit at 6 a.m. 9 February 1971 and the facility had to accommodate displaced patients from a damaged hospital nearby. The film crew helped set up beds for the incoming patients.
