Contrary to what some sources claim, this was not filmed in 1971. Filming occurred in June of 1973. Lead girl, Christina von Blanc had not yet even begun acting in 1971, and several automobiles have also been identified as 1972 and 1973 model year cars. Footage shot eight years later, for Le Lac des morts vivants (1981), was edited into this film for subsequent releases.

Goofs
Just past the nine-minute mark, when Christina stands next to the guy playing piano, she casts a shadow on the right side of his face, which appears and disappears in each shot.

strange and haunting

O.k...so if you watch this movie expecting Tom Savini type zombies and lots of hot sex you will be disapointed...this is more like an art house surreal-dream/nightmare flick.Check out The Queen of the night's beautiful haunting song.Definitely a movie for the midnight hour.Great stuff,but only if you have the original uncut version!!
