The title is a play on '(The) Grapes of Wrath'.
The hapless stork says he'll be kicked out of The Stork Club, which was a fashionable NYC nightclub at the time. It would close just six years after this short debuted, in 1965.
The drunken stork mixing up baby deliveries was a popular cartoon plot, used everywhere from jungle depths to the outer space regions.
Bugs sings the popular song "I Dream of Jeannie" as being a light brown hare. The original lyrics say Jeannie has light brown tresses.
Daffy makes a cameo at the end.
