Featured review
Hans Quest's direction leaves much to be desired, but he does manage to come up with an amusing, happy and fast-paced Heimat comedy that takes itself not seriously. A typical 50's film for during the holiday season. Quest is supported by a fine cast and even the always fresh and maidenly Marianne Hold shows that she is a woman; added are some passable Schlager singers, o.a. the nice, young Gabriela. Of course, the gorgeous Kessler Twins are here too; they perform one of their dancing numbers in bikini, so the film has at least one main attraction.
In short: not bad at all; I have seen Heimat comedies that are rèally bad.
