The only appearance of Charles M. Wolf, although a similar wolf character appeared in Grand mère ne s'en laisse pas conter (1955).
The gag where Bugs throws a can in the air and shoots Charles M. Wolf in the face is reused in Wild and Woolly Hare (1959), with Sam in Wolf's place.
The gag where Charles M. Wolf is tricked by Bugs into entering a tunnel is reused in Clippety Clobbered (1966), with Wile E. Coyote in Wolf's place and the Road Runner in Bugs's place.
The name "Charles M. Wolf" was a nod to longtime Warner Brothers animation director Charles M. "Chuck" Jones.
The background animation is more streamlined and modern here, as the 60's approached, but no less colorful or stylish.
