Charlotte Austin and Ray Corrigan in La Fiancée de la jungle (1958)

Trivia

La Fiancée de la jungle

Edit
The original working title was Queen of the Gorillas.
Steve Calvert's friend Bobby Small, who worked primarily as a circus clown, donned the alternate gorilla suit in scenes that required two apes in the same shot.
This would be he final time that actor, stuntman and frequent gorilla performer Ray Corrigan (nicknamed "Crash") would appear in a film as a gorilla. That same year he would appear in one more film, La Fusée de l'épouvante (1958), as an alien monster, before retiring from the screen.
This film was released theatrically on a double bill with The Beast of Budapest (1958).
Use of a stopwatch suggests that more than 60% of this movie is stock footage from Africa, and jungle footage from Man-Eater of Kumaon (1948).
