The Bartley House hotel facade, is the same one that was used in "The Lucy Show" episode "Lucy Meets Danny Kaye"
This series took the very unusual step of having the entire main cast of a previous sitcom (Private Secretary) move intact into a new show. While renamed, the characters were much the same: Don Porter as her male boss, Ann Sothern as the capable second in command, Ann Tyrrell as her sidekick & confidant, and the wise cracking Jesse White. The biggest change was the setting, from a New York talent agency to a New York upscale hotel. Both series were produced by Desilu and both of Sothern's characters, Susie & Katie, appeared with Lucy Ricardo. In much the same manner, Lucille Ball would later morph her own various sitcom casts into different settings & characters.
