- [unchains himself from the radiator and goes after Tweety. A plunger covers Sylvester's mouth]
- Clarence: I'm sorry I had to do that. I was afraid you might be weakening.
- Sylvester: Yes, I *did* weaken. Thanks a lot!
- Sylvester: [On the floor, crying] I can't stand it! I gotta have a bird! I'm weak! I'm weak, but I don't care! I can't help it! After all, I *am* a pussycat!
- Clarence: I wouldn't do that if I were you. If I were you, I'd put him back. It can only lead to self destruction. It only takes one bird to start you, and before you know it, it's two birds, then three. Suddenly, without realizing it, you're a victim. Then one day... the end of the road.

- [kisses Tweety and after he does he licks his lips and sweats uncontrollably then tries to eat him]
- Sylvester: [Clarence laughs hysterically and chases after Tweety] Stop it!
