Every NFL Fan Has Something to Root for in Kickoff Commercial Starring Normani
Image
Normani is the star of the 2025 NFL Kickoff commercial. The singer put a spin on Quad City DJ’s 1996 hit “C’mon N’ Ride It (The Train),” this time branding it as “C’mon Ride the Float” to soundtrack the legions of football fans ready to cheer their favorite team to victory.

A few fans and familiar faces, including social media stars Druski and the Rizzler, make appearances in the commercial. “I’m on a dolphin, not the float,” Druski semi-raps before yelling cut. “Guys, my legs are chaffing. I need some baby powder,...

Blood Orange ‘Essex Honey’ Review: Hiding in Plain Sight
Image
Blood Orange’s 2013 breakthrough, Cupid Deluxe, was so indelible in part for how it swung between moments of funky elation and utter malaise, often during the course of a single song. Dev Hynes’s last album under the moniker, 2018’s Negro Swan, was more consistently dour, and the alt-r&b pioneer’s follow-up, Essex Honey, burrows even deeper into melancholy.

While Hynes lyrically explores loss, memory, and loneliness, he still finds ways to elegantly break through the fog with moments of joy, ecstasy, and comfort. These moments of relief arrive in brief flashes throughout Essex Honey—often via musical flourishes, from the rattling percussion that grounds the otherwise free-floating “Mind Loaded” to the noodling guitar,...

Big Brother Spoilers: Ava Sets Final Nominations After Chaotic Veto Meeting
Image
There comes a point in every season of Big Brother when things become predictable.

Sadly, it seems like we’ve already reached that point and we’re less than halfway through Big Brother Season 27.

Nominations in recent weeks have been mainly unsurprising. Thankfully, new Head of Household Ava vowed to switch things up this week.

(CBS/Screenshot)

At the end of Sunday’s episode, she nominated Keanu, Vince, and Zach for eviction.

Keanu has been up on the block at every opportunity, while Vince and Zach made their way to the block for the first time.

(Sara Mally ©2025 CBS Broadcasting, Inc)

Vince has been playing the game too hard, making side deals after side deals, so it was inevitable that his luck would run out eventually.

Not Haley Bennett, But Margot Robbie Was The First Choice For This $173M Popular Thriller? Here’s What We Know
Image
Which Girl On The Train Role Was Offered To Margot Robbie? ( Photo Credit – Instagram )

Margot Robbie was nearly on the viral thriller train! According to an IMDb Trivia, The Girl on the Train was reportedly eyeing her for the role of Megan Hipwell, a troubled character tangled in mystery and suburban secrets. Robbie didn’t bite. So in stepped Haley Bennett, and the rest took a sharp, moody turn down the tracks.

Bennett might’ve taken the window seat in hindsight, but she steered the story through some seriously bumpy storytelling. As Megan she delivered a performance that flirted with the kind of haunted vulnerability Robbie is known for. Some even say she channeled her inner Robbie, which is fitting since the Babylon star was originally in the conversation for the part.

The Girl On The Train Falls Flat In Certain Areas Despite A Star-Studded Cast

Haley Bennett wasn’t alone.

This Day That Drivel: Subhash K Jha Revisits Emraan Hashmi’s The Train
Image
This time titled This Day That Drivel, Subhash K Jha looks back at Emraan Hashmi’s The Train, which released in 2007.

Not to be mistaken with 1970’s Rajesh Khanna-Nanda murder mystery, The Train co-directors Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderabadwala, to whom goes the dubious distinction of being the only directorial duo of Bollywood after Abbas-Mustan , don’t just rip off the fast-paced 2005 loco-motivated thriller Derailed directed by Mikael Håfström and starting Clive Owen and Jennifer Anniston, about the price an adulterous man must pay for biting into the forbidden fruit.

They turn it into a mushy-mushy rush-rush job where the film editor seems as much in a hurry as the commuters in the Thai subway that houses this thriller’s non-existent thrills. Trust me, Geeta Basra playing Jennifer Aniston’s role is quite a jolt. She pouts preens and poses as though Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction has suddenly got too close for comfort.

Guillermo del Toro Calls This Free-to-Stream Stone Cold Classic a “Masterful action thriller”
Image
We are back today with another exciting movie recommendation from auteur creator Guillermo del Toro. Today’s pick is a classic actioner that del Toro previously praised via Twitter (it will absolutely never be X to me). The Crimson Peak director has nothing but love for this one. You can scope a quote from the post in question directly below.

While del Toro is surely an enthusiastic fan of the film, he’s far from the only one. The Train has a stellar Rotten Tomatoes critical approval rating of 94% with 18 reviews tallied. Additionally, the flick sits at a very respectable 89% audience approval score on the site.

Critics praised the film for delivering astute commentary on the evils of war and for serving up breakneck action sequences from start to finish.

If you have yet to experience the picture and find yourself eager to do so, make your way over to...

Christina Applegate Blasts Stigma Around Ms, People Who Think She ‘Must Have Done Something Wrong’ to Get It
Image
Aside from the physical difficulties Christina Applegate faces as someone with multiple sclerosis, the “Dead to Me” actress revealed she also has to deal with unkind speculation about how she might have contracted the degenerative disease — in addition to bizarre “cure” suggestions.

Applegate, along with fellow Ms sufferer and acrtess Jamie-Lynn Sigler, joined Conan O’Brien on Monday’s episode of his “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” podcast via video.

“I think that the first thing that I hear from people is, ‘How did you get it?'” she told O’Brien. “Meaning, I must have done something wrong in my life to have this disease. I did it to myself. I had breast cancer as well. So, ‘Oh, you must have done something.'”

She continued, noting that she is “used to” the stigma now. “But for a while it was so hard to swallow because, why the F would...

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Do You Want Bill & Brooke To Get Married?
Image
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&b) spoilers tease that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) got her heart handed to her by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye)–again. She doesn’t learn, in our opinion. Would you have so pathetically begged him to come back to her in front of his Gf, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig)? Pfft.

What’s next for Tsotv? And for anyone who would disagree with that name, defend her now!

Some fans think it’s time for Brooke to get back with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) while others think Brooke needs to grow up and set a better example for her mini-me daughter Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

What Does Brooke Do Next?

Then again, homewrecker Brooke may not be interested in Bill because he’s available. What fun is going after a single man for Brooke? She likes the thrill of the chase and has shown herself to be moral-less time after time.

5 Movies Whose Stars Were in Severe Pain
Image
Workers shouldn’t feel pain. Instead, the client should feel pain, and they should pay you by the hour for the pain you provide them.

That rule should hold equally true in the world of filmmaking. But sometimes, everything goes wrong, and the actor finds themselves screaming in agony. And no: We’re not just talking about when someone pulls off some impressive physical stunt. The pain can also come from far more unexpected sources.

5 Kenpachiro Satsuma, ‘Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster’

As a guy who put on a Godzilla costume in half a dozen movies, Kenpachiro Satsuma experienced plenty of painful moments. Most fall under the category of “impressive physical stunts,” which we said we weren’t going to be focusing on today. He had concussions. He almost drowned, because he had to linger underwater before popping up as Godzilla. He got electrocuted, because we guess the only way...

Nanda – Living In The Shadow Of Meena Kumari
Image
Shining the spotlight on the talented actress Nanda, Subhash K Jha focuses on her life in reel and real.

Nanda, who was part of the illustrious Mangeshkar family, never got her due. And she was herself partly to blame for it. Fixated on becoming another Meena Kumari, she was typecast in weepy family-oriented roles of the all-sacrificing Choti Bahen, Beti and Badi Didi. These are actually the titles of three of her popular films where she was shown sacrificing her own happiness for the family.

Nanda did make a belated attempt to break out of her doleful image with her shocking murderous avatar in Yash Chopra’s Ittefaq and as a drug addict in Naya Nasha. But she is largely remembered for her sweet, benign domesticated roles (I can’t recall one film where Nanda was cast as a working woman) humming and chugging her way into audiences’ hearts in...

Revisiting Saif Ali Khan’s Meticulously Crafted Espionage Thriller Agent Vinod
Image
As it clocks 13 Years, Subhash K Jha revisits the espionage thriller Agent Vinod, which featured Saif Ali Khan in his slick, cool spy avatar. We also hear from director Sriram Raghavan about making the intriguing film.

Sriram Raghavan’s Agent Vinod travels all across the world to capture some of the most never-seen spots in the world, the plot, an intelligent, clever, urbane, and wry melange of Jason Bourne and James Bond, Farz, and Mission Impossible, finally finds its most assured resting-place in apana jahaan Delhi.

The last half-hour, when an international terrorist outfit attempts to blow up Delhi, has the grammar of an espionage thriller so riveting and so right that you wonder what took director Sriram Raghavan so long to get there. The plot, perched precariously on the brink of self-indulgence, never spins out of control.

Raghavan, a late bloomer if ever there was one, has only done...

Bullet Train Explosion Trailer: Shin Godzilla Director Shinji Higuchi Returns With High-Octane Netflix Thriller
Image
Pop quiz, hotshot: What happens if you take the co-director of Shin Godzilla, give him the premise of Speed and the bones of the classic 70s Japanese action thriller that inspired it, and stump up some serious Netflix moolah to let him fully off the leash? Answer: Bullet Train Explosion. Yes, having gotten his kaiju on with big lad twofer Shin Godzilla and Shin Ultraman over the last near-decade, filmmaker Shinji Higuchi's latest is an incredibly does-what-it-says-on-the-tin titled Netflix remake of Jun'ya Satô's 1975 joint Bullet Train. The set-up is simple — there's a bomb hooked up to a Shinkansen train that'll detonate if its speed drops below 100km/h, and there's a ransom being demanded by the nutter who rigged it — and the trailer's a doozy. Check it out below;

Sweeping drone shots, fraught passengers and even more fraught crew, and, sure enough, some big ol' bullet train explosions...

Burt Lancaster's 61-Year-Old WWII Movie Is Based on a Real-Life Heist
Image
Quick LinksBurt Lancaster Was a Hollywood LegendThe Train Was a Severely Underrated MovieThe Train Was Based on a Real HeistThe Train Remains a Critical Success

World War II movies have been a prominent fixture in Hollywood since the war began. Even as soldiers were charging onto the battlefield to face off against Imperial Japanese soldiers and the Nazis, the industry was producing more theatrical releases. Movies like The Great Dictator (1940), Minesweeper (1943), and Hitler – Beast of Berlin (1939) forced audiences to reckon with the reality of war. Even when World War II ended violently, Hollywood never lost its fascination with the era. It continued to produce more releases with every passing year.

Throughout the 20th century, World War II movies were an essential staple. Every decade had a massive World War II movie released, culminating in Saving Private Ryan (1998) and Schindler's List (1993). Before color films conquered the big screen, however, black-and-white epics...

‘Reindeer Games’ at 25: Why John Frankheimer’s Maligned Would-Be Christmas Cult Classic Deserved Better
Image
On paper, the heist movie “Reindeer Games” should have been a slam-dunk. It had action master John Frankenheimer at the helm, a buzzy cast of rising stars and reliable character actors chewing the scenery, and a clever premise in which a crew dressed as Santa Clauses robs a casino at Christmastime.

Yet “Reindeer Games” landed with a thud 25 years ago — critics mostly hated it, and it flailed at the box office, opening at number three behind the kids’ movie “Snow Day” and the Bruce Willis vehicle “The Whole Nine Yards” before disappearing from theaters entirely just a few weeks later. Was it really that bad, or just a victim of bad timing? And was there a better film to be found in the footage Frankenheimer shot before test screenings led to months of reshoots and editing-room meddling by financiers Harvey and Bob Weinstein?

These questions can largely be answered via...

Gh Spoilers: Drew Blows Curtis’s World Apart – Exposes Taggert is Trina’s Real Father
Cameron Mathison
Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) is definitely bitter that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) conspired with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to take Aurora from him, and has an ax to grind with Curtis.

His recent visit to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) confirmed this. Drew was inquiring about Selina’s previous association with Curtis at the Savoy, the nightclub that Curtis owns.

Drew wants to go after Curtis in a major way, and Selina might have the intel to help Drew take Curtis down.

Drew could learn the stunning truth from Selina- that Curtis is not actually Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) father after all!

Selina Wu May Have Switched Trina Robinson’s Paternity Test

Back when Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) wasn’t sure whether Curtis or Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) was actually Trina’s biological father, a paternity test was conducted.

Selina told Curtis that she could have the paternity test say whatever he liked,...

What Happened to Reindeer Games?
Image
With the holidays in full swing, it’s time to unwrap the sack and ask point blank: What is the all-time Best Worst Christmas action movie? Invasion USA? Money Train? Maybe the recently released Red One? With plenty of gifts to sift through, John Frankenheimer’s Reindeer Games instantly stands out as the ultimate fun, so-bad-it’s-good yuletide action affair. Even the great Charlize Theron, who has become Hollywood’s most hardened action heroine in the interim, told Esquire Magazine in 2008 that Reindeer Games was the worst movie she ever made, stating:

“Reindeer Games Was a bad, bad, bad movie. But I got to work with John Frannkenheimer. I wasn’t lying to myself. That’s why I did it.”

Indeed, every serious cinephile knows full well that Frankenheimer helmed some of the best cross-genre movies in the 1960s and 1970s, including such minor and major classics as The Young Savages,...

What Happened to Linda on Blue Bloods?
Image
Linda Reagan's death on Blue Bloods was a result of behind-the-scenes issues involving actress Amy Carlson's contract negotiations with CBS. Many fans were upset with Linda's off-screen death, feeling that it was disrespectful to the character. Linda's seemingly accidental death eventually turned into a murder mystery on the series Blue Bloods missed an opportunity to keep Linda as a guest star in future seasons, rather than killing her off, but could still rectify this mistake in its fourteenth and final season.

Linda Reagan was a beloved character on CBS's police procedural Blue Bloods for seven seasons before abruptly being killed off. Linda was the wife of lead character and detective Danny Reagan, and the mother of his sons Sean and Jack. This War Movie With 95% on Rotten Tomatoes Is a Bold, Underrated Masterpiece
Image
The horrors, thrills, and acts of bravery seen in World War II have constantly and consistently been a rich source of inspiration for writers and directors since VJ Day. Some of the most unforgettable cinematic images of our time, such as the girl with the red coat in Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List, Steve McQueen hopping over fences on his bike in The Great Escape, and Brad Pitt telling his subordinates about Jim Bridges and Apaches in Inglourious Basterds, have come from the largest global conflict on record. Some films have been able to seep into the public conscience and set box-office records and gather a host of awards nominations, all of which are justified. Some equally astounding films, however, just never managed to crack the zeitgeist and grip the public's imagination. One such film, one of the most thrilling and intense war films going, is John Frankenheimer's 1964 film The Train starring Burt Lancaster,...

The 20 Best War Movies Based On True Stories
Image
Not all war movies are based on true stories; but those that are can increase the realism of the film and up the stakes. Accuracy is crucial in movies based on true stories, altering events only for narrative purposes. The best war movies based on true stories can be an important way to connect with history.

War movies based on true stories are a popular genre for filmmakers who are interested in the action and intensity of battle as well as the stakes that come with being based on a real event. The best war movies are not necessarily based on true stories, and it's an important distinction to make. Unless a war movie is set in a fantasy world like Warcraft or is a science fiction film like Starship Troopers, the film is likely set within a real world period, during an actual conflict that happened. However, this does...

Dead Star, and other Hr Giger film projects we never got to see
Image
Alien artist Hr Giger was involved in a number of film projects in the 1980s and 90s. We talk to filmmaker William Malone about some amazing films that never happened.

Given just how genre-defining 1979’s Alien was, it’s perhaps surprising that Hr Giger, the Swiss artist who designed the title monster, wasn’t involved in more films. His creations appeared in the likes of Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986), Species (1995), plus a little-seen German indie comedy horror called Killer Condoms (1996), but none were as high-profile or influential as Alien.

In the wake of that genre-defining space horror, other artists and designers tinkered with Giger’s unforgettable xenomorph in its sequels. Giger wasn’t involved in the making of Aliens, Alien Resurrection or subsequent prequels or spin-offs, and his work for Alien 3 was barely used. Instead, Giger had the curious habit of coming up with concepts and artwork for...

‘Ronin’s Original Ending Was Better Because It Was Darker
Image
There are, unfortunately, some filmmakers who, despite having innumerable classics on their resume, remain largely unknown to a non-cinephile crowd. The great director John Frankheimer certainly fits this description. Although many of his films are regarded as classics, Frankenheimer’s name isn’t always associated with the success of the moving biographical drama Birdman of Alcatraz, the groundbreaking political thriller The Manchurian Candidate, the classic war film The Train, or the iconic racing drama Grand Prix. Despite facing a brief period of commercial failure towards the tail end of his career, Frankenheimer secured a major comeback thanks to the success of his action-packed spy thriller Ronin. While it's unquestionably one of the greatest films, Frankenheimer had a darker ending in mind for Ronin that was cut from the theatrical release.

The Only Major Actors Still Alive From The Great Escape
Image
The late 1950s and the entirety of the 1960s was the golden age for big, brawny, studio-produced action-adventure epics. Films like "The Bridge on the River Kwai," "The Guns of Navarone," and "The Train" plopped big movie stars in the midst of finely crafted yarns about unflappable heroes pooling their expertise to pull off seemingly impossible tasks. Most of these were next-phase World War II movies that eschewed the reverential tone of the films made in the immediate wake of the conflict's end; they were less about the Axis enemy, and more about the ingenuity of men in high-pressure situations. When done well, they were hailed by critics and ticket-buyers alike.

And with due respect to the many entertaining entries in this subgenre, none of them can match the armrest-shredding suspense and rousing camaraderie of John Sturges "The Great Escape."

Working from a screenplay credited to W.R. Burnett and the...

Grammys Host Trevor Noah Slams NFL Fans For “Complaining about Cameras Cutting To Taylor Swift, Like She Controls The Cameras. Let Her Live”
Image
“I must warn you, this show is live, anything can happen,” teased host Trevor Noah about Sunday’s Grammys Awards. “It’s like flying on a Boeing airplane. One minute there is a door. The next minute we are outside.”

The former host of The Daily Show returned for a fourth time as master of ceremonies for the 66th annual fete. Opening the show in his signature white jacket and tie, Noah talked about how the Grammys was the “only concert that actually starts on time” and how it even hands out a prize for best audio book.

“It’s hard to twerk to, but it’s still great,” he joked.

Noah went on to riff about AI, Taylor Swift, and all those female nominees. But first, he had to help escort Meryl Streep to her chair.

Just as he was pointing out that record producer Mark Ronson was sitting...

‘The Nuttiest Nutcracker’ Dishes Out Food Puns Galore in Rancid Christmas Eve Adventure from 1999
Image
On Friday nights — and special occasions! — IndieWire After Dark takes a feature-length beat to honor fringe cinema in the streaming age.

First, the spoiler-free pitch for one editor’s midnight movie pick — something weird and wonderful from any age of film that deserves our memorializing.

Then, the spoiler-filled aftermath as experienced by the unwitting editor attacked by this week’s recommendation.

The Pitch: Wait for Santa to Get a Load of These Nuts

There’s no doubt in my mind that Santa is a midnight movie fan.

A famed night owl with a criminal streak, ol’ Kris Kringle seems like just the sort of cinephile who would fit in with the IndieWire After Dark crowd. Sure, he would probably be more inclined towards the Christmas projects that feed his ego than a cheap “Sausage Party” predecessor with some of the most unpleasant computer-animated cheese ever melted into imagination. But...

Reverse 1999: The Best Sonetto Build (Psychubes & Team Comp)
Image
Sonetto is a F2P Mineral Arcanist whose best builds in Reverse 1999 support her fabulous and diverse range of skills. Her list of tags include Dps, Control, and Support, allowing her to neatly fit into multiple team comps. When fully leveled up, her Commandment V Incantation damages a target while applying Disarm for two rounds, leaving them unable to attack. Exhortation IV, meanwhile, buffs the entire team.

While F2P characters are typically weak, Sonetto is one of the best characters in Reverse 1999 as of global launch. While she may struggle in boss battles, her Incantations make her a top-tier support character. She can prevent strong enemies from attacking while boosting her team's damage, leading to a powerful Ultimate against all enemies.

If you want to get more Portrays for Sonetto, simply continue through the main story. Sonetto and all of her resources appear as rewards for story completion.

John Frankenheimer
Review: John Frankenheimer’s The Train on Kl Studio Classics 4K Uhd Blu-ray
John Frankenheimer
John Frankenheimer’s The Train opens with a heist of masterpieces of modern art from a Parisian museum. The operation, supervised by Wehrmacht colonel and aristocratic aesthete Franz Von Waldheim (Paul Scofield), is a desperate assertion of the Nazis’ supremacist ideologies during the final days of the German occupation of France. As such, it’s easy to perceive the museum curator’s (Suzanne Flon) appeals to the sense of national pride felt by the Résistance-Fer—a group of rail workers who were part of the French Resistance—as an attempt to fight fire with fire, specifically when she requests help from railway manager Labiche (Burt Lancaster). Which makes it all the more fitting that it’s not Labiche who jumpstarts the workers’ efforts to stop the train that’s moving the stolen paintings from leaving France, but tenacious train conductor Papa Boule, who’s played with curmudgeonly brio by one...

Futurama's iconic quotes remain hilarious, showcasing the show's comedic brilliance and humorous take on sci-fi tropes. The characters' unique personalities and quirks contribute to the show's humor, from Bender's selfishness to Zoidberg's terrible doctoring skills. The show cleverly incorporates pop culture references, like Emperor Lrrr's nod to Friends, adding an extra layer of humor to the quotes.

Futurama is one of the most iconic adult animated sitcoms of all time, and these 20 quotes from the long-running sci-fi series are still absolutely hilarious. Robert De Niro at an event for A Single Man (2009)
Ronin: Celebrate Robert De Niro’s 80th birthday with a classic!
Robert De Niro at an event for A Single Man (2009)
Robert De Niro is 80 years old, and what better way to celebrate his birthday than with a look back at one of his most underrated classics: Ronin. John Frankenheimer’s career seemed to reach its nadir when he directed the ill-conceived remake of The Island of Dr. Moreau. Still, someone in Hollywood must have been impressed by how he held that tortured project together, as two years later, he would release 1998’s Ronin, boasting an all-star cast including Robert DeNiro, Sean Bean and Jean Reno. This action flick about a group of disavowed spies working as mercenaries wound up being a masterclass in action filmmaking from the director who helped invent the genre with The Train, Black Sunday, Grand Prix, and so many more.

While a modest box office hit, Ronin has become something of a classic, famed for its spectacular car chases through the streets of Paris. It’s...

Why You Can’t Fit In Burrow Holes In Baldur’s Gate 3
Image
Burrow holes in Baldur's Gate 3 can be accessed by characters of Tiny size, which excludes every default size for player character races. To fit through burrow holes, players can cast the reduce spell (which works with disguise self to become a smaller race), transform into a cat with Wild Shape, or use gaseous form. Utilizing burrow holes can lead to shortcuts and additional treasure in the game, but players should be prepared to spend resources.

As a massive RPG based around the mechanics of fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons, Baldur's Gate 3 has a number of secrets and mechanics that many players might not be familiar with, with one specifically relating to the burrow holes found throughout the game. While combat is a major part of the game, and mostly straightforward to understand in a mechanical sense, many of BG3's options for exploration and dialogue can depend on a player's choice of race,...

5 Genshin Impact: Best Characters for Marechaussee Hunter Artifact Set
Image
Equipping the ideal Genshin Impact characters with Marechaussee Hunter Artifacts is a strategic way of optimizing their Normal Attacks for increased damage output. The Marechaussee Hunter is one of the two new sets of Artifacts in Genshin Impact 4.0. This is the same update that will introduce players to the region of Fontaine, also known as the Nation of Justice. This area of Teyvat is led by the new Hydro Archon called Focalors, though she rules under the guise of a mortal vessel named Furina. In this new region, players will be able to obtain the Marechaussee Hunter Artifacts for their characters.

While the Golden Troupe Artifact set in Genshin Impact is made for sub-dps characters that operate even when they are off-field, the Marechaussee Hunter set is made for Dps heroes that rely on Normal Attacks as their main source of damage, according to leaks. With two pieces, it boosts...
