Dexter Original Sin show details ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Showtime wasted no time greenlighting Dexter: Original Sin after New Blood’s record-breaking finale. While fans were shocked by Dexter’s end, the network acted quickly, opting for a prequel instead of a direct sequel. How’s that for timing?
Showrunner Clyde Phillips was all set to dive into a sequel. “We wrote all 10 episodes of the sequel,” Phillips revealed, adding that things got a little wild when MTV Entertainment’s Chris McCarthy came on board. McCarthy, fresh off the success of Yellowstone’s prequels, wasn’t into sequels. He wanted Original Sin. He told Phillips, “I’m not in the sequel business; I’m in the prequel business,” just like that, a Dexter prequel was born. Phillips quickly pitched it, and McCarthy’s four-word response sealed the deal: “Phenomenal. I love it.”
And bam, production kicked off.

The following contains spoilers for Moana 2, now playing in theaters
Moana 2's big emotional moment in the film's climax carries on a longstanding meaning of Walt Disney Animation. Moana 2 is the latest entry to the canon of animated movies that's been going strong for almost a century. Over the course of 63 films, Walt Disney Animation has explored several different themes and settings, with a colorful collection of characters that reflect an ever-changing perspective on the world at large. Despite this wide variety, many of the films do ultimately share a lot of common elements.
Moana 2 pokes fun at elements like Disney Princesses, subverting long-standing aspects of the franchise. However, one of the film's most emotionally powerful moments has a deep-seeted connection to other entries in the series. Moana 2's ending highlights one of the most powerful recurring themes in Disney Animation, and elevates Moana's status as a hero.

Girl Group challenge influenced by Covid pause was a standout moment in Drag Race UK S2. "UK, Hun?" surpassed expectations, topped charts, and boosted season's success. Unserious nature and silliness set "UK, Hun?" apart, contributing to its lasting impact.
RuPaul's Drag Race is not short of iconic main-stage challenges. From the Snatch Game to the Ball, these challenges help to formulate the identity of each season, often providing some of the most memorable moments. Despite the first of its kind appearing in the first ever season back in 2009, the Girl Groups only began to appear consistently after Season 14. However, they have appeared in all seasons of Drag Race UK, Down Under, and all but one season of All Stars, and remain one of the main challenges fans look forward to.
As each season produces a new group of songs for fans to enjoy, it only gets increasingly difficult to say definitively one is the best.

When A Chinese Ghost Story premiered in 1987, it was already part of a unique category – the fusion of horror, comedy, and Kung Fu. Asian horror films are known as jiangshi, which is the name of a specific spooky hopping ghost found in Chinese folklore that proliferates these films.
Part zombie, part vampire, jiangshi are corpses that are usually reanimated by demons or Daoist sorcerers. They hop along mindlessly with their arms outstretched like sleepwalkers, and feed on the life essence – or qi – of the living. Often a jiangshi is blind but can smell breath. This makes for great comic hijinks as hapless characters struggle to hold their breath while gruesome jiangshi shove their rotting noses close to their mouths trying to pick up the scent.
Comedy is a common horror film device. It releases tension and leaves the audience unguarded for the next jump scare. The addition of Kung Fu...

Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury for a new Disney+ Marvel TV series according to Variety. No details are currently available other than the fact that he’ll the popular McU super spy is indeed the headliner of the show and that Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot) will write and executive produce the series.
The news comes just months after Agents of Shield wrapped its seven season run on ABC. While that show was ostensibly part of the broader McU continuity, and launched itself out of the events of the first Avengers film, it always felt a little disconnected from the Marvel Cinematic Universe proper, despite two brief cameos from Jackson himself relatively early on. And since it was always at the mercy of the bigger events happening on screen, it never really got to delve into the deeper history and machinations of the McU’s ultimate spy agency.

During the last week of his life, Tom Petty grew unusually wistful. Home after a tour with the Heartbreakers, he had his wife, Dana, call up his rarely seen 2002 “Fun in the Desert” video, in which he tooled around a barren landscape on a mini-motorcycle, then asked her to track down a high school girlfriend on social media. “He hated Facebook,” Dana Petty recalls. “But he got super-nostalgic. Looking back, it’s very strange.”

She-Ra and The Princesses of Power season 5 has been heralded as an amazing finale to an already-revered Netflix show. While fans and critics alike adored it, the season didn't wrap up all the burning questions in Etheria. And not just nit-picky little curiosities, like how Catra will react to living in Brightmoon. No, there are big, concerning questions still left out in the open (that fans can only hope might be answered in spin-offs or movies). After all, the best friend squad still has to bring magic back to the galaxy, right?

While fans can live without some of these answers, other ones are just too crazy to leave open-ended.

Avengers: Endgame truly marked a turning point for the McU. For the first ten years, stories usually focused on the core Avengers team, but now everything is changing at Marvel Studios. Part of this is down to many of the cast coming to the end of their contracts, with Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. fulfilling their obligations with Endgame and Scarlet Johansson doing the same with Black Widow.
So, where are we going from here? Well, it seems that over Phase 4 we’ll see the mantles of these characters being passed down. We already know that Sam Wilson will become the new Captain America (though what we’ve heard about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier suggests it won’t be an easy transition) and that Jane Foster will take up Mjolnir in Thor: Love and Thunder.
But now, our sources – the same ones who told us Marvel was developing She-Hulk and Ms.

Not enough love is set aside for this ambitious, under-budgeted Lost Civilization epic. John Agar and Cynthia Patrick find love in an ancient albino race that worships a Death Ray and enslaves a race of Subterranean Humanoid Underground Dwellers — Mole Men, what else? It’s unconvincing and the production lacks polish, but it’s also got clever story gimmicks and sympathetic monsters, so it gets a warm reception at CineSavant Central.

Pop stars write closing credit songs all the time. But the story behind Elvis Costello’s moving song “You Shouldn’t Look at Me That Way,” about an older woman’s complicated allure, is crazy. Producer Barbara Broccoli and Peter Turner went to see his show at the London Palladium and were shocked to see a photo of Gloria Grahame on the stage. When they went backstage, they asked Costello to write a song for “Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool,” starring Annette Bening as the aging Hollywood actress who has an affair with younger actor Peter Turner (Jamie Bell).

Collins Offers Up Secrets From Scrapped Wicker Man Sequel
The scrapped sequel to classic 1970s movie The Wicker Man was to star Joan Collins and Christopher Lee as evil cult leaders.
Collins reveals the production, which was due to start shooting in the Scottish Highlands this month, was to be directed by Robin Hardy, the man behind the original.
And she still hopes the film can go ahead. She tells Black Book magazine, "It's about two young people from America who are gospel singers. They go to a remote village in the Highlands to convert people to Christianity.
"They come in contact with an evil cult led by two people. One of them is Christopher Lee, and the other one is me."
Lee played the villain in the original film, which starred Edward Woodward.
The sequel was scrapped last month due to "financial difficulties".
