Pleins feux sur Stanislas

Funnier and more action

This has more action like he constantly is in battles and lots of funny in here, I think the first in the series Reluctant Spy has more shadowy elements.

Stanislas II

A sequel to the 1963 "L'Honorable Stanislas Agent secret" ,it is another proof positive that sequels should never be made, with a few exceptions of course .

Nadja Tiller replaces Genevieve Page, but the screenplay is a mess ,where the viewer easily loses the vital lead ;the gags are repetitive, the characters being tied and gagged every ten minutes;one can save ,at a pinch ,the scene of the "torture" but the viewer has guessed the truth before the "revelation" .

The last pictures are a "north by northwest " ripoff.

It would take four years before Marais made a truly great movie with Demy's "Peau D'Ane".
