This was one of the better Heidi productions I've seen, and believe me, I've seen quite a few. Though the movie I saw was dubbed into English, it was enjoyable. The scenary is beautiful, filmed on the mountains...and the vast difference with the busy city of Frankfurt. The score is amazingly effective, with the sweet theme "Heidi", and the fast paced music to match the bustling Frankfurt streets.

All in all, a great movie! :)

Heidi is cute and she's probably better off with her aunt rather than that old dude grandfather of hers who lives up in the freaking hills like a hermit.

It also gave Heidi something to do all day taking care of the little cripple chick in the city. Now they can go for ice cream and drop water balloons on people's heads.

So long Gramps with your liquor cabinet, stinky farts, and loud belches. Hello nightlife in the big city where Heidi and her friend can get drunk and get picked up.
