This movie heavily influenced Mike Myers's creation of the Austin Powers films. The faux band Ming Tea, features in the first Austin Powers installment, took its name from a product advertised in The 10th Victim.
Initially not a success upon release, the film has since gone on to become something of a cult classic and is attributed to influencing the Austin Powers franchise and The Hunger Games.
